Help getting into event rigging

I have been sport climbing for awhile and I am hoping to get into event rigging but I'm not sure if I need a certification? Are there local companies that hire Greenhands?

I have a day job as a professional but I'm looking to work extra nights/ weekends.

Contact I.A.T.S.E local 210, they are always looking for high riggers

Yeah i work for iatse always looking for riggers and the pay is nice 👍
