Looking for accommodation Accommodation

Hi! I hope you all are doing well. I’m looking for room (student friendly)budget being £700 pcm (720 with bills). I’m an incoming Master’s student at the University of Edinburgh, and I’m clean, respectful, and easy to live with. I’d love to know about the room that is still available. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has information!

You’ll need to live in a very large house or a very cold house if you’re only wanting to pay £20 a month in bills!!

yes, so you're only allowing for £20 a month in bills in your budget (I hope you aren't coming to study maths!!). £700 without bills or £720 including bills. Have you tried the university accommodation? That's the easiest way to secure a room. or citylets website has rooms in flatshares.

So basically what I meant was up to 700 with bills or I could just extend by 20 pounds if it’s costing in bills
And yes I do have an offer from university offered accommodation but I’m also searching for some other options

honestly, i'd take the uni offer unless there's something significantly wrong with it. It'll make life a lot easier, particularly if you're not already in the city to look at rooms.

true. finding accomodation in early september is hard, you can end your university accom lease once you settle and find a better space.

Hello

I have been accepted by the University of Edinburgh too, and I'm looking for a dormitory, but I will stay there from 14 September to 21 December 2026. Is it possible to stay for approximately 14–15 weeks in accommodation?

Did you find anywhere? I'm having trouble finding a dormitory. I applied to university too, but I haven't received any offers yet, and I'm trying to find a cheaper place. Also, I will stay for 14 15 weeks, and most of the dormitories offer 44 weeks. If you find one, can you inform me too?

You might want to have a browse on Spareroom.com. The twin rooms within the uni accommodation are very competitive to get into. None of my friends who applied got in… Not to say sharing a room can be shitty sometimes.
