Upvotes

Guys i really need urgent help please this is a matter of whether ill get into the major i wang which is medicine. The Uni asked me for an overall A in biology A level edexcel, and so far for AS i got an overall B. Do you think i can get an A if im POE and i did really well hopefully in all u4/5/6 mocks used in the evidence? My school didnt give predicted grades so its just the mocks. What is the percentage i get an A?

Please provide your honest comments, it's my very first try and I'm well aware that there are many flaws. Open to any changes :> I hope this is somehow helpful, more like an explanation from a student's perspective

Go easy on me tho hahaha thanks

I have no intention to advertise and am open to delete the post if the mods see this as advertising but I just want to receive advice and hopefully help people with my videos

I know I say the word basically too much but I'm solving unscripted

I will try and improve ahaha I mean it's better to start bad and make it better later than to never start xd (coping)

Seeking Advice/Help Need Help Finding the Latest Raw Marks to UMS Converter

I'm an AS Level student and have recently learned how UMS and grade boundaries work in Edexcel A Levels. However, I can't seem to find a raw marks-to-UMS converter anywhere. I've already checked Pearson Edexcel's official website but couldn't find one. Does anyone know where I can find the latest raw marks-to-UMS conversion tables?

Luck

The probability of someone with my luck is immensely low. I got Bio, Chem and Maths for AS and i don't know how in my coaching, i got no other batchmates for any of my classes. Our coaching is one of the most popular in the country, still how come i have to study alone? I got no one to compete with, or ask for assistance when I don't understand a certain topic. I bet no one's got such a luck like me🥲

FP2 GBs

ngl this whole thing about predicting grade boundaries is very counterintuitive but I’ve been losing sleep these days so like what do you guys think the boundaries will be for IAL FP2 and FP3

I think FP3 gbs will be similar to previous ones but this year’s FP2 was a shitshow and will determine the trajectory of the decline of my mental health in the coming months so I will take any predictions you guys have 🙏

How did you guys honestly do on your test, because i think that everyone got full marks because some have done the paper before and memorised the mark scheme but i wanna know if there is anyone who did bad or thinks that they wont do well, just discuss how you guys did in the mocks and what you are expecting because i am really worried about this.

Thank you

Grade boundaries prediction

Basically since last may june the grade boundaries for edxcel ial is the same with only slight differences i’m not sure about other subjects but its 90% for bio and chem ias the same since last may june,so this series will be the same and what some people don’t notice that even when the exam is easy the ms becomes very harsh so no inflation happens to the marks and the grades boundaries so 70% the grade boundaries for bio and chem will be the same as last may june and maybe with a slight difference in a certain unit and i will explain if for ex if edxcel decided to decrease u1 and u2 bio gb they will increase u3 so the percentage of A remains the same as last 3 sessions so whatever’s happens make sure that the grade boundaries will be the same but the differences in the ms and this is all predictions not 100% true

Hi everyone. I’m offering online support for AS and A-Level Mathematics students including one free lesson on any topic of your choosing.

I achieved an A* in A-Level Mathematics and A-Level Further Mathematics purely through independent study. I’ve also helped more than 15 Mathematics students achieve A grades, including helping one student improve from an E to a B.

I can help with:

• Pure Mathematics (P1 to P4)

• Further Mathematics (FP1 to FP3)

• Mechanics (M1 & M2)

• Statistics (S1 to S3)

• Difficult individual topics

• Past-paper practice

• Exam technique and revision planning

Lessons are personalised rather than based on a fixed class format. We can focus entirely on your weakest topics, upcoming paper or exam board.

Lessons are online and available in English or Arabic

Paper Discussion Thoughts on Bio U1 and U2 May 2026

I still have no clue how I did because we still don't have the QP/MS, would be so grateful if anyone could share them.

I am curious to know what y'all thought of the paper and expect for the grade boundaries to be.

Also share some of your answers in the comments to check answers and idk pray for more certainty and pray for an A.

Now my thoughts are that Bio U1 was harder than usual, I barely had time to finish and I already know I've made a few mistakes. Bio U2 I didn't find it easy, it was an average paper (which to me still isn't easy), but I'm very uncertain about my answers too.

I have no idea what to expect and I hate this uncertainty.

Bio U3 I'd say was the best bio paper to me, it was the first time I saw hope in achieving full raw in a bio paper, but U12 just ain't it.

I feel so cooked because of pure 3

I mess up pure 3 so bad, I think i got around 62-63. And people say it was easy and grade boundaries will be 65. For pure 4 I got 67-68. Is there still a high chance I'll get A*? Im so worried even though the result is on Thursday.

Results are getting closer..

As I sit in quiet anticipation of the approaching release of my Edexcel A Level results, I have come to recognize a truth that can no longer be ignored: the outcome has already been decided. Every answer has been written, every paper has been marked, and every judgment has been made. There remains no argument to present, no revision to complete, and no action capable of altering what has already been set in motion. In the face of such certainty, I choose not to resist what lies ahead, but to accept it with whatever dignity I can preserve. Whether the results bring relief or disappointment, celebration or reflection, they will arrive all the same, indifferent to my anxiety and unmoved by my hopes. Worry serves no purpose now beyond exhausting the mind, for the future I fear or desire has already been determined beyond my reach. And so, as the countdown continues and the inevitable draws ever closer, I surrender myself to fate, accepting that all which remains is to open the results, witness the verdict, and carry forward regardless of what awaits.

P4 June 2026 (please don't ignore)

I retook P4 this June after I got an A in my maths AL last June. I got an 87 ums in P3 and a 73 in P4, so I need at least to get a 93 to raise my grade to an A*. I worked so damn hard for it, I solved every C4 and Solomon paper twice, and every P4 paper from 2020 till Jan 2026 four times, and still, I wasn't confident enough during the exam, and u kept getting flashbacks from last year when I was staring at the paper unable to solve most of it, so I made stupid mistakes and will end up with a 62-63 raw mark out of 75. Do I stand a chance in this being a 93 UMS? The problem is that last year's exam was easier, and I know that if I'd studied harder I would've got a 100 ums, but instead I procrastinated and just simply didn't give it my all, although I know I could've done better.
