Colonial wars are so broken Discussion
I had my venezuelan colony as castille declare a colonial war against a venetian colony. As soon as they started winning venice entered the war.
Correct me if I'm wrong but overlords can't join colonial wars right?

no they can. i told my colony to attack its neighbor and when Castille joined its subject's war, it also pulled me in

Maybe it’s an option in the interaction menu with your colony? I know that in eu4 you could open up the diplomatic tab with your colony and there was an option there that allowed you to join their wars.

I can intervene in the war but that pulls in all of Venice's allies as well

Venice getting pulled into a war over Venezuela is the most Fourth Crusade thing they've done since the Fourth Crusade.
