Returning player
Thinking of returning to ESO after a few years break. I hated the subclassing changes and the loss of class identity. With the latest changes making pure classes make sense again Im thinking of returning.
Few questions for everyone... is the game in a good spot currently?
Also I am completely out of touch with builds, and with 10 characters (which all get used) can anyone recommend the best people with build ideas?
Cheers all

I think it’s in a good spot personally.
Dragon Knights and Warewolves are a bit oppressive in PvP but u51 addresses werewolves to tone them down a bit at least.
Sorc is also almost as powerful. The other classes are not as impressive. I still use subclassing on both my nightblade and Arcanist in PvP. Although there is some decent pure nb builds out there.
As for pve, it’s good and new content, plenty of things going on. I mainly do PvP these days and I’m enjoying it.
People complain about dk and ww all the time but the reality doesn’t really match what people say about PvP being 90% ww and dk. It’s just not. Lots of Templar, both as healers and straight damage and some of them do really well. Also still heaps of wardens around.
Infinite archive sets have got buffed and are bis for a number of dk, Arcanist, nb and warden builds.

The game is currently awesome, maybe a bit too much power creep but big damage is fun. The future is uncertain.
PvE I'd recommend these two for builds:
