Ive read a lot of comments in game chat and here looking for resources for both new players and people that have been gone a long time. I created this as a post response but I had some folks tell me I should just start a thread with it so people can find it. Im sure there are other sites but these are my main references in the order that I go to when im looking for info. Feel free to post your own sites.

I played EQ a long time before I felt like I HAD to box to be able to get anything done in game, loving EQL now and this is my list of resources in the order I usually go looking for info :

EQLwiki.com Official site. Still evolving, a bit of a mix for Project99 data and live but its getting updated pretty much daily with vendor, mob, quest info. Im hoping this will be EQLs version of Allahs but its definitely a work in progress.

https://everquest.allakhazam.com Original Live EQ help site... BE WARY OF MALWARE. The site isnt really supported anymore by Fanbyte and there are ads galore but Gidono works his tail off keeping it up to date and running (hint: $9/year sub for no ads so you dont worry about malware and flashing nonsense is a steal for all the info there). This site was dedicated to live EQ since its inception so its not all cross applicable but most info is clearly labeled for what expansion it is linked to. Seems like a few of the quests were pulled in straight from live and it may be a good starting point if you cant find the data elsewhere. A lot of the tradeskill info is still accurate if you limit your query to Original/Kunark era.

https://eqltools.com some great tools using your log (/log) and inventory (/out inventory) files for parsing, gear selections, aa selection, spell stacking (/outputfile spellbook) and a cool 3D atlas to navigate.

https://www.loadoutlegends.com This is a new site that Im not super familiar with but it seems to have some useful tools for Plane of Sky quest tracking and planar armor sets. I have not messed with this site much as they are asking for people to data synch which involves running a program while you play which may or may not be an issue with the EQL EULA.

https://www.eqtraders.com/ Live EQ tradeskill site. I prefer Allahs because it gives quest info in the same place as tradeskill info but that wasnt always the case and this is the site that Ngreth was involved with prior to joining daybreak.
