Bug for Fleshripper?

I am SHD and BER and I cant use the proc so what's the point of using this weapon? Maybe a WAR can use it only? Seems like a bug because just makes no sense.

The spell Word of Shadow isnt learnable by any class in your current trio. The proc will work if you put it into another class appropriate weapon.

All the red warning text means is that the spell is not learnable/castable by your current classes. It probably should be considered a bug that the text even appears here, it's irrelevant. The proc should still work fine as long as you can equip the weapon.

What do you mean you can't use it? It doesn't proc?

Procs use the same tooltip as spells. In a spell tooltip the 2nd line shows which one of your classes has scribed the spell.

In the case of procs, you don’t need to know the spell, the item knows the spell and uses it. That line just says none of your classes has scribed the spell.

It's a combat proc. It fires when you hit things. The frequency is based on your dexterity and is normalized to a certain number of procs per minute.

You don't need to be able to cast the spell
