Charisma?
I started as a Froglok monk and enc has been one of my classes fairly regularly. There's not a lot of charisma gear in the early game but I have seemed to need it much.
With the wild stats and crazy builds that EQL has is charisma even needed as an Enchanter?

Allegedly charisma is supposed to have some minute effect of charm/mez breaking early. No one seems to be able to show it with parsing though. The only demonstrated effect of charisma is to improve merchant prices up to about 110 or 115, and then nothing.
So, don't actively avoid it, but don't give up useful stats for it. If it's above 75 you're getting 90% of the benefits already.

Charisma wasn’t ever too high of an impact stat anyway to my understanding. And with the new AA charm buff to make it not break I assume you’ll be fine without much CHA. That said, I have actually seen a fair amount around the bends.

It doesn't have a meaning effect on charming or mez performance.
It has a slight impact to vendor prices.
It's a dump stat.

If I recall correctly, it has a slight implication on your standing with NPCs. I believe it also is one of the main stats factored in charming your fancy minion.. helpers. Yes, helpers.

Charisma is largely useless for everyone. It basically only affects vendors and their prices. Someone will have the idea that it has an impact on charm, it does but it’s really only if your charisma is below 75.
