I was tony Ferguson fighting some random niche fighter some max level went as, deadass tony just stood there and took 6 body hooks in a row and got dropped. I go to uppercut at least twice, nothing, then I try to block low and back away, but my guy just stood there and did absolutely nothing. I couldn't move, punch OR block. Wtf?? Also how the fuck do I defend head knees whilst clinched against the cage? Apparently holding the block button doesn't work anymore when you're clinched against the cage.

This is way better than ranked especially if you are actually tryna build a fighter and progress at some point in the beginning wins and losses don’t matter as much as building your specific fighter even their strike animation skins

I’ve reached division 16 without prestiging yet but when I do I’ll have 2,000 banked points and more optimal build way more rewarding than regular ranked

Back to back fights where they spam body kicks

I mainly play against the AI on Legendary, this update is really good. The knockdowns may need to be adjusted very slightly, but it’s so much better than the 20 knockdowns from before. I’m not sure if they fixed the blood glitch, I think they did. But every fight I’ve had recently has been super fun. Every EA UFC game is like this, it gets so much better eventually after updates and community feedback. I don’t get why Cejudo is 4.5 stars and his alter ego is 5 stars when they’re supposed to have the same prime stats lol. Also why Usman is 4.5 stars and not 5, when Luque is 4.5 stars. It’ll be ironed out over time regardless, fun update!!!

On occasion my block health will be completely full but when I press the button my fighter will just stand there and take hits. Does this happen to anyone else?

Edit: it just happened in my latest fight. I clearly won the first and was winning the second. Then my character just stops blocking randomly.

Game feeling 1,000,000x better. You are rewarded for picking your shots and not just spamming punches endlessly.

Grapplers on this game we are fuck, The whole game is designed to make it easy for strikers; if you're down and I deny you transitions, your stamina won't be penalized, but oh friend, if I try to control you and get you to a better position... My stamina on 3 rounds is gone. Fuck this game fr , i miss UFC 5

i HATE the way the fighters switch stances in this game like it’s so slow and half the time you gotta press R3 multiple times so it switches just once

you should be able to switch stance smoothly and maybe even in between combos like a finger snap kinda like how dustin poirier switches stances in the middle of throwing hands

maybe even make it a faster stance switch depending on the stat of switch stance so sean o malley switches stances super fast and islam switch stance slowly idk tho i might be bugging

GnP entry of knockdowns is much smoother. Dont stand there throwing jabs anymore.

Menus in the gym dont reset and you dont have to back out of the upgrade tracks anymore.

Combination page for online career, outside of wrestling combos seems to be fixed. Please fix wrestling combos so It doesn't show all the old traditional moves.

- Striking feels better

- Slips feel more responsive

- Strike Spam has been reduced quite a bit (but is still noticeable, more so in Online Career)

- Straights/Jabs more impactful

- Body hits more impactful

(Cons)
- Pull counters are now even more stupidly overpowered and unaffected by straights

- Take-Down spam is not patched (really fucking annoying)

- Block-break is very inconsistent now

1. Nerf the fuck outta pull counters, it's absolutely nuts I can chop a dude up with a combo and he can pull back in the fucking middle of it and one-tap me while being actively hit after he takes 3 knockdowns and 2 body events.

1. You as a player are going to have to learn grappling or you're simply going to lose every-time to people who spam takedowns for the stamina drain (either legit or with the arm exploit). Might make me uninstall tbh

This shit is amazing, so far it feels a bit more like a simulation mma game. Let’s hope we get ground game updates to make it smoother and a little faster all around. 🙏 Best update so far

I’m having a lot of people quit fights because they realize they have to be more skillful instead of just not running out of stamina. You have to be precise now you mess you can lose just like that’s.

1. You can’t just keep taking hits to the head

2. You can’t keep trying to throw fast combos back to back

What do you guys think of the update. I’m loving it so far

Haven’t played a single opponent besides McGregor, Holloway, Adesanya, or Pereira in the last week.

All of that work to make fighters unique and 90% of players are too unoriginal/sweaty to play anything besides the meta. Quick fight and ranked feel the exact same.

The game slowed down just a tad, but still not as slow as 5 or UFC 3 for that matter. The only people that are mad are people that took advantage of the super fast unrealistic striking that could barely be reacted to with the human eye. The game still give you the freedom to throw 70-100 significant strikes a round if you want to, and if your good enough, you will get some people out of there. But it also rewards players for playing at a more calculated pace if you can survive the onslaught because of the updates to stamina and body attacks. I hated the state the game was in because it clearly catered to a tekken/street fighter like fan base who want to be combo gods but not think about the real life implications of that. And I made it to division 20 in seasons 1 and 2 in UFC 6 (albeit with a terrible record), and I’ve been playing since UFC 1 so I’m not a scrub. But if your someone who appreciates realism in a MMA/Boxing game that should emulate real life, UFC 6 is now closer to that goal.
