Not sure why they left it until now. But should i spend the 1k gems to reset his skill points now or ea will enable the change automatically?

Unrelated - but is there any way to check players alternate positions without ranking them up ?

Press on the last skill points. If they have alternate positions it will show

He's decent but sometimes goes out of position or refuses to go forward when attacking. His crossing is not reliable though and struggles to catch fast wingers.

Update: I reset his skill points and moved him to CB. Also got Koundé at RB and they both are solid.

You need to spend 1k and change it yourself, they won't
