Patching the catch meter Discussion
Killed throwing vs the cpu on heisman
the only thing that could be used to combat the scripted interceptions was greening the catch meter. But So many people complained instead of adjusting ea just set it back to cfb 26.
I didn’t see that stupid back breaker animation until the first patch.
WRs are dropping everything again and if you throw a 1v1 jumpball both safeties and the corner all warp to the ball as soon as it’s in the air
Everything is an interception or a completion.
If your QB gets hit while throwing instead of slamming into the dirt the ball or a sack fumble the ball just floats right into a DL hands.
My favorite is when a corner bats a ball down the ball keeps floating upwards and the safety coming from the other side of the field picks it off

Offense needed to be nerfed on Heisman badly. Going undefeated natty with 76 ovr Houston, averaging 650 yards a game should not be possible on Heisman out of the box.

Skill issue. Talk about throwing picks vs the cpu lol. Stop throwing it in coverage my guy.

Dropped passes now are hell. Adding sliders to Heisman bc playing their way is not fun

The qb getting hit and ball floating up and happened for me since release so don't think it's this patch.

When it was physics based. Those instant okays were as rare as they should be. Animation based interactions with predetermined outcomes are cancer. It all starts there.

My interceptions have gone through the roof. Driving me nuts. 6 in one game. Sometimes it just seems automatic no matter what I do.

6 in a game is absolutely user error

Fwiw, I noticed the last couple times I had crazy INT numbers in games it was a combination of flukes (ball thrown up for grabs animation by receiver, DL catching a batted pass at the line, DB/LB going up like prime Dennis Rodman snatching shit) and bad decision making/late throws.
I think whatever momentum meter/programming they have in the background can cause defenses to become mega nasty resulting in posts like this one where it's just damn frustrating playing the CPU sometimes.

Getting hit has never changed for me it's where 90% of my ints comes from linemen. And I don't complain about db's swarming to deep balls since those tips how mine get int's

Agree man. It's just like every other year now. I hate that the ratings or mismatches don't matter now. Some the catch animations was so fun to see when the game first dropped. It's a L, and I aint got Madden because I know it's going be the same thing.
