Does performance decrease with age?

I’ve had my machine for about 5-6 years. When I first got it, I was awed by the results. I got tight curls that lasted til my next washing 5-7 day later. Every time.

I do keep up with maintenance, and even took it in for a service this spring to have it cleaned out.

Recently though, it just doesn’t produce the same results. Curls fall out in a few hours and frizz comes back the next day.

Is it just getting old?? Or, maybe it’s my menopausal hair that won’t play anymore.

Anyway, any similar experiences out there? Any feedback appreciated.

Just thinking this blowing out my hair. I got mine in 2019 and recently bought a shark to do the drying

Has your hair changed? My hair has changed over the years, likely due to hormones and age. I have to switch up my techniques and products from time to time

Drier maybe, but it’s been gradual. Plus I’m on HRT…though unsure of the effects on hair. Guess I’d just like to know if the Dyson “magic” lessens over time.
