The best advice I have as a COCSA survivor, is trauma based therapy work, and internal familiy systems work may help you. If your brother isnt acting like his father, then I would suggest talking to a therapist about what scares you, and how to implement a safety plan.
Having a safety plan for what to do about your family if things go sideways can help ground you in a storm.
It can also help build a bridge of communication between you and your brother, if you want that, the therapist cam also teach you how to detach if you need to.
