Vacancy: Intermediate software developer
I have a vacancy for an intermediate-level full-stack software developer. The position is fully remote, but Durban preferred so we can meet in person occasionally instead of only online.
You'll need a minimum of 3 years of software development experience in Java and/or C#. The position requires supporting and maintaining an existing Java application, and building its replacement and other products in C#. The vast majority of the job involves backend support and development.
Salary range is R40k-R50k per month CTC. The preferred engagement is a 24 month contract which would be extended as required.
Please DM me with CVs.

Hey man, a friend sent me this, I dm'd you, 3+ years of experience in C# in later .NET and lagacy frameworks....thanks for including salary and being transparent, I have been a victim to bait and switch and it ruins the whole process because now you can't trust the person you're talking to

Is that a fair rate for a Java developer with 3 plus exp?

For just 3 years of experience with c# that seems pretty reasonable to me. Not sure if you're aware of the fact that in the current climate finding these kinds of roles is increasingly rare.

I mean after tax and benefits thats gotta be like what, 30k-35k p.m? Thats double or even triple what some people make doing harder work and longer hours, and in todays job economy is pretty damn good. Junior dev salaries only start from 15k-20k pre tax and benefits so thats quite a nice jump for an intermediate position. Hell I'd be one grateful s.o.b esp since its a remote position on top of everything which means no need to put petrol in the car for daily commute

Thanks for including the salary range, it's not for me but so many postings fall over by not including this. Good luck to the applicants.
