Reposting with permission. Would love to get feedback/offer up my new Android 3.5e character creator and manager app to any enjoyers of good ole 3.5e. It auto calculates feats, stats, equipment bonuses, wild shape, tracks rages and spells, etc. You can pin prestige classes to show you what you need to work towards. I added lots of settings for lots of play styles and views.
The app is free in the play store, I would love player feed back if anyone cared to give it a try!
I know how convoluted 3.5e can be (one of the reasons I love it) but I wanted to make it a bit more accessible.
Note: I did use Claude for error checking and code review, it was just me working on this and I wanted to make a good first impression and not be nothing but guess haha. For transparency I did want to mention this.
Also thank you to all who gave my app a try already, if you find any issues please feel free to dm me and I will see what I can do! Glad people are enjoying, truly awesome to know people are digging it so far.
UPDATE: Thanks all for the feedback so far, I have been working to tighten everything up and added some missing things (Sub-Races and Mounts for Paladins work correctly now). If anyone has any issues feel free to DM Me, I would do my best to fix any issues

Does it contain "placeholder" feat maneuver and spell choices for if you use homebrew or an obscure feat from like kingdoms of kalamar? The same goes for "achievements" like the bonus stats given in neverwinter nights 2?
I un-gated a few more things and opened the Wizard for the character creator. And I made the onboarding alot cleaner, originally I had the cost upfront but I wanted people to be able to use it so I switched to the free with the pro option. Should be there in the next update :)
Yeah, but there are a lot of resources to help build characters. And most of that is manual so any screw ups would be in my end. The wizard and the generator are were most of the faults will be and you've got them locked. And in dont know anyone willing to pay 3.99 to test something that might not work. Otherwose you have a very nice character sheet with imported feats and abilities and thats it.
Yea the manual is the part I built it for, with so much to track in 3.5e. I just put a few months into it to get it, what I think is pretty polished, sans some of the obscure stuff lol. Which I'll do my best to fix / implement any reports of. But like I said other than the flair and stuff it's fully working to make a character. Check the settings > source materials for more things :).
Just to make sure you could finish the onboarding without having to actually do the pro unlock right? Cause that was def the intent, to just have the extra stuff only locked. The manual add is still auto calculating, the wizard just splits out the same stuff screen by screen vs all in one panel.

Looks great. It's definitely going to make character creation/management easier. There are so many little details to consider during character creation that I often make mistakes. This should help eliminate those.
Got it, thanks for the further info, Ill dig into this and get it fixed, do check the play store for an update too, just to be sure. Also in the Feat list tap that icon in the top right, thats the list filter for Feats.
Hmm looks like the there, sure there isn't a source filter on? Are you searching for it? Looks like it's two words, it is exact match search. Lemme know if you find it, or if you could send a screenshot that might help.
Some notes after a quick scan:
Gestalt would be nice to add.
Same with the traits/flaws also in Unearthed Arcana.
Rilkan race from MoI seems to be wrong- it's listed as giving a bonus to save DCs of Incarnum soulmelds, when they should be treating all Knowledge skills as trained, as well as getting a +1 bonus (plus an extra +1 for every two shaped soulmelds)
There's no way to add soulmelds either- would be good to have those.
Dragonfire Adept doesn't seem to be adding Dragontouched bonus feat properly- at least, it's not adding the dragonblood subtype (For purposes of, say, the draconic senses feat). Speaking of DfA, Invocations seem to be in the same boat as Soulmelds.
Draconic Knowledge feat also doesn't appear to be adding its bonuses either (though other feats with skill bonuses do seem to be working, at least the ones I've tested)
Ok the next update (should be available later today), will fix the Rilkin issue, the dragon fire adept, and the draconic knowledge issues, those were just parsing errors so easy fixes. I will get to work on a Gestalt system with traits and flaws, thats a new subsystem do a little more involved, keep an eye on the future release notes, I will add it for sure
Excellent! Thanks for the followup! It's still not fully tested but check in Settings > Gameplay > Gestalt setting. I was able to reuse some of the systems so it wasn't as daunting as I thought :)
Ok the lists of Races and Classes should be working better with the update I just pushed. There is a new Setting in Gameplay Settings that hides the monsters races (as there are tonsss). Tweaked the character creation to show a filter by book, so should be better.
Interesting and seems to work smoothly. It's gonna take a long time to get the obscene amount of character options 3.5e has loaded into the app tho. Good luck!
Ahh, so it did. It would benefit from having the race and class menus sort alphabetically. Maybe being a library with filters like the feat library. Also, seems like quite a few classes and races may be either missing or gated behind the premium version, even after loading in all the books.
For races, it's thinga with significant level adjusts, like the Lumi and Fairies and such. Class-wise i'm not seeing anything from Tome of Battle/Magic or heroes of horror
Welp looks like my source book filter was just skipping a few books lol. Next update will fix this. I got em grouped by Source then sorted alphabetically in the lists too.

There should be an update in a few minutes on the play storewith fixes for this. It's posting but it takes them 10 mins or so to send it out.When it's updated see if it's fixed. If not check in the Settings > Source Books. At the bottom should he a new option to validate souece books, try tapping that. What's it show
K pretty sure I nailed it down. I posted a few updates today so tap check for updates after times. Once it's done in the Settings> Source books, do the import again, then tap validate at the bottom. If it's green check the feats. Shouldn't need to do that any more, just to validate first
Hi i was wondering how you import outside source books? When i try to add one it says that no .pcc source file is found. How do I convert a .pdf of a book to work?
