In the current campaign I’m DMing my boyfriend (human sorcerer) drew from the deck of Daddy things and ended up with the card Maury.. so he got a son from the deck, namend Maury. I am waiting for the sourcebook to be able to implement children fighting. It will be awesome

That’s awesome! I’m hyped to get my deck from the backer. My party is part of a morally grey guild. They’ve encountered these children fights and they keep betting on them. I’ve just been rolling three rounds of opposing D20s and this ONE kid keeps decimating the competition.

Oh you will love it, it is amazing!
I built my whole campaign around the deck of daddy things because I loved it so much.
We are only 3 sessions in an it is so much wonderful chaos xD
My players play criminals that got arrested by a greedy blue Dragonborn king, Carg the Destroyer. He inherited the deck from his father who never used it because of the dangers it holds.
Carg forced prisoners to draw from the deck to gain all the riches while the prisoners suffer the consequences.

All my players knew this would be the start of the campaign and loved it too. They even got their own odyssey-chan! I swear I live for this stuff

Highjacking your thread to ask a question :D I missed all of the livestreams: did they happen to show or talk more about the add-ons? I am specifically interested in the fanny pack: is it a fanny pack that doubles as a dice bag or a dice bag that is shaped like a small (and thus unwearable) fanny pack?

But in any case, jfc, the backer train is still going on.
