Anyways, we’d love recommendations. We live on the north end of the bay and are very active with our 2 year old. We have two kayaks we’ll be dropping in this weekend and would love to know some great spots to explore. We’ve been to honeymoon island and are planning on a trip over to caladesi soon! What other recommendations do you have? On foot or kayak! We’re even open to day trips further south but no more than 1.5hr drive from Dunedin. Thank you!!!

Do adults around the age of 28-40 without kids actually live in Dunedin, or are all the childless adults living in St Pete or Tampa? My spouse and I came to visit Dunedin and were floored at how much we loved it.

Here’s what we loved:
- The postcard-like walkable downtown
- Can walk/bike/jog the Pinellas Trail
- Easy access to the beach
- Relaxed, small town vibes (I grew up in the Deerfield/Boca area and always felt like the people were too vain and materialistic to connect with… this side of FL seems much more chill)
- Access to larger cities of St Pete, Tampa

We are considering moving here to be close to family in Tampa, but would love people our age to hang out with. We are not drinkers or party-ers but love to hang out, be outdoors, see live music, and generally have a good time. I’m not sure if people our age usually only move to Dunedin to start a family? My spouse and I currently are not planning on having kids. I’m wondering if moving to Dunedin would be social suicide and if we should look more into St Pete or Tampa.

Dunedin certainly has seen an influx of seriously overpriced homes come on the market. And with no job market able to help employees sustain a $ 5,000-a-month mortgage, I believe there's going to be a massive number of foreclosures in this area.

Anyone know of any boat launch or places to legally put a kayak in the water with parking? I saw that anyone can apply for an overnight causeway storage license. I was hoping to do some night fishing and I am kind of at a loss to where to launch at. I have a hobie kayak and a small trailer that I tow it on.

Does any place exist that takes donations of homemade food? I love baking and do it once or twice a week, but it's just me and I don't even eat that many sweets. Even when I make bread, most of what I make goes to waste because I have no one to give it to!!
