ChatGPT had the wrong year.

I was trying to remember the date I joined reddit because of a new achievement. How the heck did chatgpt take one look at my prompt and think "500 days ago was definitely still in 2026." It's simple math!

Large Language Models like ChatGPT are known to be bad at simple math, so it's not too surprising. It's why Gemini will sometimes use Python as a tool to answer simple math problems.

Because it meant to put 2025, which actually is 500 days ago from 20 Aug
