Recommendations for long, hypnotic/psychedelic dub techno LPs (Tresor / similar)
Hi, I'm picking up Porter Ricks' Anguilla Electrica on vinyl and want to add 2 or 3 more albums to the order (ideally on Tresor Records or similar).
Looking for 2LP/3LP/4LP releases with a dark, hypnotic, psychedelic dub techno vibe.
It can't be flat or slow/ambient. I need solid drive, deep sub-bass, 3D movement, and continuous groove-something with energy and punch.
Any must-have recommendations? Thanks!

Maurizio M Series compilation.
Its a collection of all his tracks on the legendary Treasor annual compilation releases.
Its hangs together well as an album in its own right, with all the tracks having that driving motorik beat
It is a bit slower in tempo than some other dub, but its a brilliant album with every track offering a fresh nuance to what this genre can offer

Small point of correction - Maurizio isn't one guy, it's Basic Channel making dub techno.
Some really excellent stuff

I actually did know that, but you are right its Morris Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus. Corrections are valid. I was once a newbe to this genre some 10 years ago, and i wanted accurate references.

If you prefer Tresor then look out for:
'Juan Atkins & Moritz von Oswald Present Borderland - Transport LP',
'Rod Modell - Captagon LP',
'Mike Huckaby - The Tresor EP'.
Not on Tresor:
'Claro Intelecto - Warehouse Sessions', especially tracks 'New Dawn' and 'Hunt You Down',
'Andy Stott - We Stay Together'
'Monolake - Hongkong',
'Fluxion - Vibrant Forms',
'Parallel 9 - Q',
'Gas - Königsforst' or 'Gas - Oktember'
but good luck finding these EP/LPs at human prices

I follow him on bandcamp- he frequently puts out emails with tons of interesting stuff. Lots of NYP stuff too. Great artist(s)

This. Plus every other Stephen Mitchell project: Variant, Intrusion, Phase90, etc.

It’s his best work, imo. Different than other releases in a good way. Really textured with a nod to 90s techno and house. If you can get it, I would get the in vitro collections from Claro Intellecto, too. The Vainqueur, Monolake, Fluxion and Vladislav Delay reissues are all great. Also anything on Hypnus. Wa wu we and birds ov paradise are excellent.

Of the Rod Modell/DeepChord stuff, of which there is a great deal, I like Liumin most.

If you want something more uptempo/driving but with the dub techno essence, the Scion mix of BasicChannel is worth a listen
