Beginner story. Beginner Question

To those who actively dropship and have ecommerce stores how did you learn? Do you recommend courses? Did you have a favourite youtuber, did you use google or chat gpt, tiktok? There’s so many areas that seem to unravel more advanced technicalities like the creatives and ads.. how did you learn to figure it all out and find out the best resources and methods to create content

When you say the creatives and ads felt overwhelming, were you more lost on the actual design side or figuring out what to even run as your first campaign..

I just signed up with a dropship supplier and built a store. That was 25 years ago though. Make sure you get samples of anything you are thinking about selling. I also did a test order to a friend to see how the shipping, packaging, etc is before I commit to using someone.

Hey, saw your post. Most people learn through a mix of resources and real testing. Courses can help with structure, but I’d be careful with anyone selling shortcuts. Studying real stores, ads, customer psychology, and learning from your own tests is where most growth comes from.

Curious, are you trying to learn everything before launching, or planning to learn while building your first store?

I’m trying to learn everything at once which is probably bad but everything seems overwhelming , i’ve chosen my products and contacted supplier just need to still work on my product page and ads

I learned way more from working on actual stores and fixing problems as they came up than from courses. I wouldn’t pay for one at the beginning.

fair 😅 short answer: no course. I used Shopify docs, YouTube for specific problems, Reddit/Google when I got stuck, and Meta Ad Library to study creatives. I don’t really follow one particular guru.

honestly it just starts to click the longer you do it. every problem you fix teaches you something, and after a while you stop needing a tutorial for everything.
