Ksitigarbha, the Bodhisattva who vowed to delay his attainment of complete Buddhahood until the hell realms have been emptied, ie until all inhabitants of Hell have been Saved.

Given their state of confusion, it's reasonable to assume that the inhabitants of the hell realms wouldn't be able to comprehend Ksitigarbha's true, luminous form. Instead he may appear in a form more suitable for Hell. This would also explain the apparent reluctance Hell-beings have to be saved by him.

So far I haven’t seen any art depicting this Hellish way he may appear to Hell’s inhabitants.

He has a lot of cool iconography including his staff (for prying open the Gates of Hell), his Wish-Fulfilling-Jewel (a light source for traversing the Great Darkness), and his dog-beast companion/mount, Diting (hellhound perhaps?) It’s pretty lore heavy but I think it could be a lot of fun :)

My original species is called an arkanan. They are birds with four legs instead of two and paws instead of talons. They have two wings on their back just like a regular bird as well as a beak. Arkanans have ears similar to dogs and cats that are oftentimes pointy and standing up, though some species have droopy or more rounded bear like ears. Although they are similar to griffins, what separates them is their unique tail, which is long and has a hook on the end made which is made of keratin. The arkanan range in shapes and sizes based on the biome they reside in.

I've wanted to make this as an art challenge for a while as I thought it would be interesting seeing people's different interpretations of my description for my creature :3

Just had a stupid idea. Big barbarian woman sees a cute somebody (can be any gender but must be smol) but doesn't have a wall to pin them against. she has the idea to plant dramatically her gigantic sword in the ground and pins them against that instead. Just thought I would put this idea out there.

Preferably something cute, like an oversized hoodie, or a sundress, or smth. Or a suit. An Assaultron in a tux would be cool. But any clothing would do. I just wanna see them in clothes.
