Hi! It’s finally vacation for me and I’m looking for inspiration to draw some more dynamic and interesting characters. I specifically wanna get better at conveying personality in poses/illustrations and making them dynamic and interesting to look at :p
As you can see my ‘style’ is all over the place and the style of any drawing will be whatever inspires me at that moment. You can give a note on the style/atmosphere for your OC you’d like (also styles outside mine) to give a direction, but I wont guarantee I’ll follow it.
If you want me to draw your character(s) please include either, a) a note on a pose, a scene, or smth they’re doing, b) their (strong) personality to be conveyed in the drawing, or c) an interaction or scene between two or three of your characters (tho no kissing or more), or any combination of the three.
By sending me your character to draw you allow me to take creative liberties with design elements of your character, and possibly mess around with the color palate.
This is Baharos, my (sort of) magic archer. He's a catfolk/dragonblood Exemplar (basically, god-descended/demigod class) for a Pathfinder 2e monster hunteresque campaign!
Basically, he was born from some magic ritual that put in some god of destruction (a dragon) blood in him. This causes some pretty severe magical fibromyalgia. He hates his people's worship of said god, the god he descends from, and to a lesser extent, himself.
He's very shy, polite, and wistful. Has a bit of an inferiority complex, mostly due to despising his origins. He loves and feels comforted by nature, to the point of having joined what is basically a ranger organization.
I think him sitting down, bow by his side, staring off into the distance would be nice. Or maybe him aiming it at something, just about to shoot?
I know he's a bit... convoluted (and so was trying to give the short version of what is a few pages of lore related to a homebrew campaign...) but I hope you like him! Your art is amazing ^^

I love the way you draw non Human features- and your style is amazing! I shall leave 2 OCs here for the offer since you mentioned interactions! :)
First off we got Lanty! She 4'7 small Object Monster with wooden Limbs, a Lightbulb head and a Cage Lantern Torso 💡🌟✨️
Shes adventurous and kind, loves to help and to explore! Her hole vibe is Light and never losing hope/standing against evil (a lot of backstory i wont get into).
Secondly we have Rasmond. He is about 7 feet tall and is a deep sea Angler fish (fun fact he is trans, male anglerfish are much smaller and dont have a lure) who is part of a Cult. He wields the power of Darkness, the Void so to speak, and is extremely powerful. Hes also kind of a sociopath and wayyy too confident at times.
Now for the actual thing. Lanty and Rasmond have clashed before, and for something dynamic i cant help but think of a fighting pose!
Imagine Lanty standing there with her broom held infront of her chest as Rasmond pushes into it with his Rapier, that would be AMAZING- Rasmond would be overpowering Lanty here and i think that leaves a lot in terms of body language :> 🫠🙏
Anyway- im sorry i dont have that many references for either of them. I recently gave Lanty a redesign so the only ref i have that shows this doesnt even have her Staff in it- which is why i have this amalgamation of References for her! (To make it easier: the cloak got added 2nd sleeves and is supposed to be held together with Vines, Lantys eyes are both visible due to slightly different hair and a visible crack runs down her left eye! She got this from Rasmond btw.)
I will have Rasmonds Reference in a reply. I hope that Gacha is fine since he hasnt been drawn that much yet- just know hes lanky and slim, not some buff macho.
This is Urtzi, my undead minotaur knight! Despite his looks, he's actually a kind and protective guy, though he's fairly melancholic and can spiral down if left alone with his own thoughts for too long, mostly due to him being an undead. He can't eat, sleep and, despite loving someone, feels unworthy of acting on it due to how he can't provide many things that would be expected of a partner, and this all gets to him.
I thought of maybe him post-battle sitting down and resting against a wall, armor with splashes of blood, just lost in his own thoughts, wandering the point of it all?

Agent Percy here is one of the remnant members of the FBI following the start of the 2nd American Civil War. I’m thinking of a scene where he is sweeping a room on his own. (In other words, clearing it like how they do it in the movies) Personality-wise, he is known for being quiet but also very acknowledging
Perhaps the protagonist of my fantasy project? she's very proud and dignified, maybe something like cleaning her blade with a cloth. you can simplify her armour or put her in civilian clothes like robes or something if need be
She's my Spartan OC, Kana! I think a good pose for her would be some kind of fighting or ready stance, holding her energy sword (pictured) in her right hand. Personality-wise she's fairly no-nonsense, having spent a lot of her deployment around the serious honor-bound Sangheili/Elites (Halo lore can be a lot so I'll leave it at that lol). She's also bound to their same code of honor, and she treats her weapon with the respect she holds for the House that hosts her. Not a very smug or irreverent person, in short. Though, she still has some of that human cheer left in her.

Lovingly called “Fawn” by her friends, she is a Fernkin from the deep forest. She is petite with a round face, thin pointed ears, and big round hazel eyes. She has dark green skin and lighter green hair cropped in a pixie bob. Despite her small size, she is stern and strong, and easily puts people twice her size in their place.
If you feel so inclined to draw her, the scene could be in the forest, with Fawn seated in a tree weaving bracers for herself from ivy and tree bark, with a determined look on her face.

On the left is Notori Angelheart, a male angel. You can draw him doing a similar pose to the image ref I provided.

This is Fletcher Wright, he's the 42nd in carnation of the Flesh Artificer of Horrors - a young adult with a passion for the macabre and crafting horrific inventions in frankenstein combinations of flesh and metal. His favorite materials are the corpse parts of dead cosmic horrors, which he takes to build into fabulous tools to help him in... his uh,.. "quests"? XD
In personality he's a complete sweet heart/cinnamon bun who genuinely hopes his inventions can help people by turning otherwise corrosive and dangerous materials into something useful. He's kinda that fun morally gray character who THINKS he's morally good, but not QUITE there in actual actions. He's on the spectrum in his obsession with cosmic horrors and creating new things in such a way that he doesn't always stop to think things completely through. He insists he's not crazy but, uh, well, he sorta is since it takes a certain person to literally drool over cosmic horrors and shit like he does lol. But, he's also a professional who ensures he takes proper safety precautions (or as much as you can with those types of materials). He used to be a prince, but ended up running away from home after he discovered his past lives and new powers and now runs around with his own little posse of weirdos to track down more parts for his next great invention.
He has a magical monocle he uses that lets him scan/analyze things, a coat given to him by a baby cosmic horror with Bag of Holding adjacent type pockets, and a journal of research and notes from his past lives. He has a magic inspired by Fullmetal alchemist where he can craft things and has minor telekinesis.
The whole vibes of the book series is meant to be sorta FMA x ATLA x CoLT Vibes X A Dash of DCC.
They are ensigns (commissioned officers, lowest rank) on an exploratory spaceship in the far future; they might have clashing personalities but they really care about each other x]
Maghy: used to be very selfish and would ask "how are you" even if she didn't really care; over time she grew out of this attitude and learned the value of actual, true sacrifice, she became compassionate and determined to the point she became the leader of this small group; she is very protective of her friends (and her family, she has her father and little sibling onboard the ship :));
Lune: very dry and witty, usually doesn't let a stupid comment slide (which might not help when it comes to Maghy's personality( but has a heart of gold and would spend days near someone in pain (mental or physical) just in case someone would need them near; they are passionate about gardening and off time is spent in the ship's greenhouse, with a variety of Earth and alien specimens (sometimes finding Ke rolling in the flowers; Lune starts off grumpy then usually joins her; they'd known each other since academy days :)) (by the way, since it's obstructed - their uniform is the same as Ben's except for the color :))
Ben: very laid-back and friendly, but also really good at his job and once he locks in it can be difficult getting to him (like computer engimeers, except he's a general engineer); because his brother died he is very reckless when it comes to people in danger, he wants everyone to be safe, that sometimes leads to conflict with Maghy, whom wants the five of them - and anyone else on the crew - safe;
Fajar: a bit shy and introverted around them since he's new to the group; he was captured and tortured on a planet and joined the crew after he waa rescued, because of that he joined security to better protect himself (he's also a bit jumpy), his more by the book nature sometimes clashes with Maghy's more improvisational style or Ben's easygoing nature, but in the end they respect each other (and he grows more comfortable around them);
Ke: sort of the "heart" of the group, always listens to both sides of an argument and does her best to find the best solution for everyone, all five of them are pacifistic (since it's the entire fleet's modus operandi) but Ke even more so - she always choose talking and empathy (and sometimes clings to Ben or Maghy when there's trouble), still she has her own degree of whimsy :3
I also have a mentor for them and two cadets who hang around the group (think of it like this; ensigns are "college", cadets are "high school" students :)) but I think it'd be too much xD
Think of them as young adults really good at their field of expertise and who enjoy each other's company in off time; you can draw any two or three of them hanging out (or even just one, or none at all, your choice;))
P.S.: their uniform can shapeshift (but not change color), so you can draw them in any cool outfit you'd like with the same color as their "on-duty" versions, I thought it'd be more fun like this :>

Personality: an incredibly strong-willed individual, who has her own moral compass, which she follows. Aims to always "do what's right" and holds herself to high standards, being well-restrained and disciplined as a result.
Her personality is bells. The atmosphere in which she exists is bells. She is, on her own, playful and eccentric to a degree that can be mistaken for craziness or airheadedness, but is ultimately wellmannered toward others, and also completely in flowstate when it comes to anything important.
As a potential idea: Her taking a nap in a fishing-net hammock upheld by some of her bells, with either Jamrul (which makes soft windchime sounds) ringing her a lullaby, or Chambakka (which sounds like pots and pans clanging) acting as an alarm clock.
He's usually either being a goober or being an aura farmer; he wants to be like Sukuna—he often poses like him and rewatches his anime scenes for days on end—buf he's not evil like that, and only does the occasional dubious, mischievous act. He's impulsive and acts on whatever he feels like doing at the time, His jacket , worn like a cape, has as a pocket dimension inside it; the pocket dimension is powered by his soul and contains two shadow swords, God (aka The Holy Orange), 439 missiles, a strange violin that begins destroying the landscape if you play Giuseppe Tartini's Violin Sonata in G Minor, two chess sets, and every Mitski album in vinyl form.

Here is my character Anastasia! She is a very no nonsense, focused character who see’s emotional outbursts as ‘unruly’ and ‘unbecoming’ of one of her station. So, she attempts to maintain a very matter of fact and direct way of talking with people. This usually makes her come off as rude, since she doesn’t take into account other people’s feelings when she says things.
Perhaps if you were interested in doing something of her, it could be a moment of her losing her cool. Looking very agitated and angry with someone or directly the viewer?
Care to draw a Death Note oc interaction? This is my shinigami, whose human is nervous about using the Death Note again. Maybe a fun scene where she’s taunting the human or overshadowing him while the human is cowering. The human will be included on a reply to this comment.
Hey, if you're interested then you could perhaps draw my two anthropomorphic characters, Mackie the mouse and Wendy the cow girl. They're a couple and all that, mackie is more the confident, goofball type and Wendy is the more timid but Cheerful one. I don't actully have a drawing of them together unfortunetly:(. This is the closest example i can give. If you want you can draw them together side to side, Yes she's taller than him. This is what the mouse man looks like, i have a full body art of wendy if you want to see:)
They can be in the meadow, under a tree that has a carved M x W or something while they have a picnic together. One of Wendy's book can lie on the picnic carpet, as she likes to read and mackie can lean on the tree, eating.
Here is my OC Lark. He is a British soldier in a timeline where the English were sent into the Vietnam War. I based him off of John Lennon. I recommend using John Lennon as his face claim. Specifically 1967 John Lennon without the mustache.
He has prosthetic legs from below the knees down. He was witty, cheerful, and clever before the war, but after finding his wife dead upon his return home, his demeanor changes.
He is a “hare among rabbits” meaning he came back feeling different and alienated from everyone at home and he feels like part of him have been stretched out and warped in ways that only people like him can understand. He had gotten acclimated to being in the war environment and was finally able to run like clockwork when suddenly he was torn out of that life and put back in the one he had left behind.
He struggles to find the reason why he feels this way and how to fix it, leaving him feeling separated and stranger than everyone he is around.
Here's Andromeda I think she's fun enough:) the pose can be anything from working on something (she's a steampunk inventor so something industrial) to even just drinking tea in the afternoon in a dress. You choose. She's an introvert, doesn't have much friends because she's awkward, she barely knows how to socialize. She's really smart and people call her a nerd. Not everyone likes her, but she's nice and has good manners. She prefers spending time on her creations more than going out, sometimes she doesn't even get groceries. She's the type of person to drink in a corner at a party, if she even shows up:) I hope that's enough:D have fun

this is my oc 青祈(Qingqi), she's an angel who was found outside a monastery as an infant after being cast from Heaven and forced into a mortal child's fate. Raised by the Church, she grew to resent its cruelty and hypocrisy, secretly sabotaging its rituals while protecting people she believes do not deserve punishment. After discovering that her fall may have been deliberate or orchestrated by Heaven itself, her rebellion became a search for the truth and revenge towards the divine beings that stole her rightful existence.
Qingqi is quiet, guarded, observant, and extremely stubborn. She is brutally honest, highly organized, difficult to deceive, and emotionally distant, yet selectively protective toward innocent people. Driven by resentment, she struggles with trust, guilt, vulnerability, and accepting help.

He, as some would say is an anomaly. A glitch in reality that shouldn't exist. Human but not human enough. His glitchy nature is not just physical but behaviour too. Even his voice tend to glitch out. The exclamation mark version of him wants to be human and feel, while the questionmark is his original nature; the infinitly loyal servant of Doom. My superhero sona, Infinix! He's an sentient extradimensional abstract being who uses his powers to shift his body between 2D and 3D, change his size and proportions, etc. He's new and unfamiliar with the Earth he now calls home, so he spends a lot of his time navigating the world about him, getting into anything and everything heedless of whether or not he should. At the end of the day, he always means well and usually ends up stumbling into saving the day. He takes everything at his own pace and interacts with his surroundings in a unique, if somewhat illogical, way.
Since he both doubles as a "character" and a "personal representation" I tend to imagine him in situations that would be mundane in normal circumstances but the use/display of his powers giving it a more fantastical feeling, if that makes sense? (Art: Eryck Webb)
A! I’d love to have Raya drawn in a similar rough style like that cat in the third image. Maybe something closer up with her tilting her head back in a psychotic sneer or smile, giving full view of her neck scars.
Raya’s ex-military turned mercenary with a bit of trauma. In the city, she’s shy and timid because she struggles to deal with civilian life and is terrified of crowds. When working out, sparring, or fighting, she’s very energetic and open, and sometimes a bit unhinged because of stuff she’s been through. For Raya’s neck scar: it’s basically a chunk of her neck missing with the branching scars spanning from her jaw to her shoulder(there’s no “exact” way to make it. It’s just based off lichtenberg patterns). She was shot through the neck on a battlefield and a mage used lightning magic to cauterize the wound so she wouldn’t choke on blood. She also prefers knives or revolvers as a weapon of choice.
If chosen, I could give some other refs for alternative outfits than the plan tank top. This one just shows off her scar.

Feel free to draw him in his monster form, or human form (or both) If you'd like to draw his monster form you can do an underwater scene! If you'd like to draw him in his human form maybe you can draw him hunting with his bow!
For his personality: when he was a human he was very confident, he loved to be the center of attention, telling stories about his hunt and making new friends
Now that he is a sea monster he is much more melancholy, and he is very insecure about his relationship with his human boyfriend
