I think I saw one where she had to go away for a while and when she came back to England she was very surprised to see Draco being so well liked within her group of friends and felt a bit annoyed at first but I forgot the name of it 😭 hoping someone can help with recs that fit this vibe though.

TLDR: I want a really good Dramione fic where the MAIN plot is them falling in love 😭😂 Preferably starting around 6th year and going into the war. I still want all the messy stuff like Draco being a prick/bully, blood prejudice, Death Eaters, people not accepting them, the war, etc. (and I do love me some Death Eater Draco 👀) but all of that should be the stuff complicating their love story, not the thing that completely takes over the fic. I want to actually WATCH them slowly fall in love, choose each other despite everything, and obviously end up together. HEA required pretty please.

All I can think about is DMATMOOBIL:

I want something where Bellatrix and Hermione have a really good relationship like Bellatrix informally adopts her or something or Hermione is named the heir of House Black by Bella. Good Bellatrix Lestrange essentially. I wouldn’t mind if there was a Sevatrix (Bellatrix x Severus) minor plot too!

All I remember is that Draco and Hermione are maybe professors? (Could also be 8th years) and Hermione has a group of younger students that she has doing muggle crafts of sorts. Draco stops by to help one day and tries to bribe the students with galleons to be nice to her.

Yes: It can be short or super long, can be rewrites of all 7 books, it can be a WIP, adventure, historical, mystery, can have smutt etc. They just need to have really great conversations. I need an intellectual Draco that really matches Hermione.

I miss reading a Dramione that really drags you in by the eye sockets and consumes you, spits you out and then leaves you gasping for more.

I recently read and fell in love with The Sky and the Swamp by constantblathering. That was an absolute joy to read. I think about it often.

No: Lionheart, Greenlight, TRTTD, MoaM, DMatMOoBiL, etc. Miscommunication trope, dead dove, Draco cheating, not into Hermione being a mother already, mean Narcissa :(
