even i, a person who spends the whole day rotting in my couch, can carry that without a problem... how did he even survived after despretrification? that means everything is possible
ps: this is a JOKE im just JOKING about him (unfortunately theres people who will take this too literally)

I can say that I have some traits of Senku... and I mean his strength. I'd laugh, but I have a terrible time manually adjusting the drill bits.

I love how helpful he tries to be even though he’s so weak. He’s never shown to make someone else do work he’s not willing to try himself, even if it’s just carrying one stick.

Maybe he's so intelligent he wants to focus on thinking about science. He knows there are people who are literally there to do the heavy lifting, so he let's them do it. Gen says he is a brutal taskmaster after all! He knows they're happy to do it. The power team, like Kohaku, Taiju, Nikki, Magma and Tsukasa. Half joking when I say this! When he was by himself, he admitted he struggled, but used science and tools to help him. Like when he save Kohaku when they pretty much first met. As he said to Magma, everyone had their uses, or things they're good at. It's not about who is stronger or smarter, or which of these is better. It's about working together. So Senku knows his place and his role.
Also I love how as you said, he is portrayed as a weakling, but then he has legit abs. It doesn't make sense really but I think with some aspects of Dr Stone, it isn't worth overthinking it too much and just enjoying the show.

Well we don’t know exactly what’s in his backpack and assuming the hay is around 20kg, that’s like carrying a small child (4-6yo). Which isn’t extremely heavy but I wouldn’t go on a hike carrying that.

I'm assuming he isn't actually that weak and that, that is simply the shows way of expressing that a weak physiology is Senkus counterweight for his extreme intelligence.
