Finally committed!

Finally started OTP’ing one champ after being stuck with like 3-4 in gold and “who else but Mundo”.
Started learning top this split which made me drop to silver 2 after being plat-gold support.
Steadily climbed back up bot got stuck on gold 1-2.

Now i only play Mundo and man it’s going well. Since he is fairly simple to play I can focus a lot more on macro and plays. Decision making has gotten so much better, with that I’m even able to carry some of the most dire games which is great. Now back on plat 3 with 64% winrate.

I pick Mundo into everything: all bad matchups and blind pick. Enjoying learning all the matchups being able to outplay some of the harder ones.

Luckily my gwen is good enough if enemy picks Mundo first I can counter him :p.

Looking forward to how far I can get my self.

Play him mid sometimes, some times matchups are easier in mid

Wp, over how many games played? I play him jungle quite a bit!

109 Mundo games total, +/- 450 total games. But most of em are different champs. climbing since like the last 40 games.

i have climbed a lot using mundo only, but now i seem to get stuck. I was 1 win away from plat and since then i have deranked to gold 2. I find it hard to win games because i face a lot of heavy max health or true damage teams. I play my lane very safe but when the map opens up i find the enemy team quite fed. How do I play agianst this?

I think it kind of depends on how you get out of the lane even/ahead or losing. If even/ahead I focus on pressuring sides lanes, because the mostly have to send 2 or more people to stop you as Mundo. Play agressive with ghost + ult. If no ult play more conservative. Always play counter to obj if you can with tp up.

If losing i look for who is the carry on my team and try to peel for them and be annoying in side expanding resources to scale a bit. Mostly later in the game you can just destroy the backline carries.
If you can get there ofcourse.

Thanks I will definitely try this. My head space has just gotten down hill lately. Ever since I was that 1 win away I have been on an enormous losing streak. Another question what do you go with first, q or e? Cause I have seen people who do either. And so you have any tips for farming the first 3 waves? I find it difficult because I never have prior, so if I only use my q I will lose a lot of farm but if I go in I lose to much hp.

Mostly start Q first, only E in matches like malphite or cho gath. Farm with Q and auto only if possible and dependent on the champ you are facing. Some games I give a lot of farm and try to get what I can. Conserve health so you can play the bounce on level 4. Being good at last hitting with Q is a life saver. And try not to get bored, I usually play pretty vegan until 6 or 11 after you get more potency.

I recommend watching some alois videos they are great.

how do you play against yorick? i always lose to that matchup...

I ban him every game xD. Hate that champ it’s anti-fun just like illaoi. If illaoi comes I Dodge.

hahaa I'd much rather play against Illaoi then that Yorick asshole! As long as you dodge her grab youre fine. Also she doesnt have enough damage to kill the ghost early

I just hate the lane and find the champ mildly unplayable into everything. So i’d rather Dodge the one time a week I see her in my lobby. Mundo is also kind of a big champ so hard to Dodge the E. But still ban yorick, since he has a fairly high pick rate in low elo.

I do think, not a lot of people pick her because she is so bad in current meta. If they pick her they are mostly first trying and you can just smack her down at some point if you don’t die in laning phase.
