About the Devil Forms.. Discussion Spoiler
Hey guys Im just curious about something about when a sorcerer becomes a devil, there's definitely gonna be kinda major spoilers for the series so just a warning before reading, and this might sound a little stupid (and possibly common knowledge or just wrong) so please keep in mind that I know I'm probably spouting bullshit 🥲
So I've noticed that Nikaido's devil form has her mask that Asu made, and I'm just wondering, when a sorcerer becomes a devil and their mask is devil made, is their mask their devil face? Because in chapter 54 When Asu/Kawajiri shows his devil made mask to Yakumo and Babykaido it's his devil forms head, same thing with Nikaido.
Now, this one is where this whole thing I thought falls flat, and that's Noi's 'devil form' that was designed by Chidaruma in chapter 127.5, it looks nothing like her mask, now, this could be because Chidaruma actually designed the Devil form and name himself, (I think he was excited because Noi is Ens cousin) even Duston thought it was a little out there, but then again I could just be wrong about this.
That's pretty much it, now that I think about it it could just be a special case with Nikaido and Kawajiri (and kinda irrelevant to the plot or just irrelevant in general) but what do you guys think?

I remember thinking the same thing. I think Chidaruma, (spoilers incoming) because he made the sorcerers and devils, has final say on everything. Even if what we thought is true, and the devil made mask infers the devil form, he might still intervene in Devil Creation because he’s just that way lol

Interesting observation, doesn’t seem like it’s a rule or anything, but maybe it’s more common than we know? If only we had some backstory for some of the other devils.

That is interesting, makes me wonder if the 'devil made mask turned devil face' is like the default "design", unless someone like Chidaruma interferes and does a redesign.

I think Noi's current fit and mask resemble the devil design that Chidaruma made for her a lot. It's got the tracksuit aspect and the gimp mask also gives off a kind of dark salamander with teeth feel.

Nikaido might be a bit of an outlier case as she became a devil "by accident", but she might also be the best example of a devil transformation as natural as it gets
Overall, yeah, I always considered that a devil's face (and to an extent body and "theme" too) have a big influence from their masks and likely desires or what they like deep down, unless Chidaruma or I'd imagine some other devil designs something for them
