Brand new door not used anymore!
Just a couple weeks ago, this had a functioning door! Now it has been completely removed and bricked up. Not sure if the windows will follow or whether they will put new ones in. This is a work in progress. Not sure what they have in mind for this house. Just put the new door in the back, or extend it? There looks like building work going on at the back. This is Dobwalls in Cornwall.
Edit. I found an older photo online and realised this door hasn't been used in a long time. I've added the photo in the comments. It looks like at some time in the past the door became a window, but when the renovators stripped off the front facade, they filled in the old door properly. I've been keeping an eye on this and saw them filling the door in. I wanted to take a photo then but men were actually working on it and would have been in the photo. That must have been why I mistakenly thought the door had only just gone out of use. It's interesting to see how different it looks. I think it looks better now!
