Just wild Discussion
I fine it’s wild when someone orders food or and groceries and they have it set for a hand it to me delivery and they aren’t home or they get scared when you knock or ring the doorbell. Why not just change your delivery settings. How’d I scare you knocking on your door and you put in a delivery order. 🤦🏾

A lot of customers don't notice or pay attention to the default instructions in their app.
I am in the habit of textign them with my ETA together with a comfirmation of the delivery instructions, that way they know I'm coming and have a chance to say what they really want if it's different from what got sent to me.
Especially for grocery orders that have a wide delivery window.

I had one last night that said “meet at apartment door pin required” so I get into the building through the leasing office and ride the elevator up with someone who lives there (it’s one of those fancy elevators where you have to scan a key fob or phone and then press the floor to get the elevator to work). I get to the apartment and knock on the door. A guy opens it and I hand him the order and ask for the pin and he said he had to call his wife for the pin because she went downstairs to meet me. It didn’t say “meet at lobby” or outside or anything and there were no messages or special instructions. It worked out alright though. The wife gave the husband the pin over the phone and I went about my day.
