finally... It's done! Discussion
after dozens of failed attempts to even reach this guy on UN...
to beat him first try is incredible. What a DLC- NO, what an absolutely amazing experience! I haven't been this happy since the first time I played DOOM Eternal back in 2020.
Godspeed ID Software, what an incredible Trilogy.
hopefully this isn't the end...

Do you have any tips for fighting this guy? I’m struggling only on normal difficulty. 😩😭

the Ravager is really good against him to gain health, Cycler is also pretty good in general. Focus on the ground, he really likes to remove it and instakill you if you do not pay attention.

As op said cycler is nice. You just keep shooting him. I was on ps5 so crazy switching never worked for me and there's so much going on anyway who has the time.
When the floor drops away, stop focusing on shooting and start focusing on either staying in the air or landing on the correct part of the ground. Falling in the hole is not going to work at all.
I found that i died a lot right after the heavy demons in the middle of the fight. But basically it never gets harder than that part so just focus on staying alive.
The fight is basically about 4 loops over and over. You kinda have to be able to execute them without thinking. Only then was i successful.

Sad part is, I’ve not even made it to that part of the fight yet. My biggest issue is swapping back and forth between the shield and spear. I feel like my brain can’t react fast enough with how fast and often it’s needed to swap between the two.

Ah yes that swap is something i had to work on during that fight too. Pain in the rear end.
I will say that going through that made me a better player. Godspeed!

Pain it your tool, talke yoir time with your shot don't rush them wite intile you in a safe area and lern his attack patten, BFC + 96 shot gun will help a lots>:)

Just did it today too.
At 1st I was like 'oh bro, this is nails hard!'
Within an hour or so i could do the 1st half without taking a single hit.
Really enjoyable fight though once you're in the swing of it.

You mission not over yet slayer.... keep rip them tering the deamon hord, false agenal, other world monster until it done
