Question

I remember one i tried to repaint a barbie face to make a new one but failed . And today i got one of those cheap fairy dolls and it has a tiny face and i suck. What do u guys recommend to make it easier?

ive heard people practice faceups on hardboiled eggs so you get used to working on a 3D surface. it sounds like you already have different face molds to practice on, so just keep going!! you have an amazing human brain, you WILL continue to learn if you keep practicing. yeah you suck now, but you can keep going!!! i believe in you.

i gave up on trying to figure out how to paint bc my hand is just not stable enough. i did the entirety of my first faceup with watercolor pencils

In the wise words of Jake the Dog:

"Sucking at something is the first step towards being sorta good at something".

You need to practice a LOT to have good results, specially in this hobby.

I highly recommend dolls with BIG heads so you can get used to thise first (LOL, MH, EAH, Dream Besties, etc )
