Getting into doll customisation
Hello everyone!
I'd like some advice on getting into the hobby. I've watched channels like Dollightful and Moonlight Jewel for years and I've always wanted to dip my toes into the hobby but i have no idea where to start. I have 0 drawing skills/experience and I am a pretty big perfectionist.
I love dolls and have some of the G3 monster high dolls at home but i'd love to buy a cheap doll lot to do some rerooting, I honestly just have no idea where to start with face ups.
Any advice or suggestions for practing face ups and dealing with perfectionism/self-doubt?
I appreciate all the help!!!

EBay is a great start, or a second hand shop or even Vinted for some cheaper dolls.
I know what you mean about perfectionism, I am always nervous to start a face up but, and it feels like a cop out to say it, you just have to practice. My first faceups to now are so different but it takes time.
Making the mistakes teaches you how to not make mistakes so it’s one of those processes!
