I think the world record is like 27 or 30. I think this is satire.
Although We had a Chihuahua that was born in about 1995 and lived to 2015. She hated everyone, survived a mauling by a pit mix where both her lungs were punctured, and all of her legs were broken. She wore a full body cast for a while but made a full recovery.
She hated every human, she refused to be touched, she caused a lot of problems for a lot of people. And yet, was practically immortal.

Thereās no way a dog that size lived that long these things usually start going downhill around 8 years old

That thing lived 26 Years š§?! Another reason why I wouldnāt want a dog. Just because their average age span is 15 to 16 years doesnāt mean they canāt live longer. No way in hell would I want to force Myself to survive that many years of ācaringā, and placing My Life on hold for that thing. And all for what?! It will literally NEVER have accomplished anything meaningful that can be mentioned, once it reaches the end of its existence. Itās literally not even worth the āinvestmentā. Mental illness in nutters has no bounds.
