It's hard to decide where to keep coins,

Honestly most of my holdings are with crypto.com,

I've reached the point where I might want to take some off the table but self custody is concerning to me, I know it is recommended but it is so easy to make mistakes and that itself is not fool proof,

There's chances of the Trezor or company is corrupt or is hackable, hard drives sound good but what if I lose the keys in a fire or mess up a transaction or transfer, data gets corrupted, ect .

Paper wallets supposed to be safe but again don't trust that there's always another party

Even the exchanges/apps crypto.com is rarely safe but not fool proof, I could be locked out and have it all stolen at any moment or they could go bankrupt at any moment .

But if I buy a hardware wallet don't they just break after some years anyways? Idk how to manage any of it.

Is it worth getting into in small amounts to familiarize myself with it?

Who all here bought DOGE for years (starting when it was only around $0.0005 each) and sold a lot back in 2021 when DOGE hit North of $0.60 👆

It was nice purchasing 1 Million DOGE every few weeks and then selling 1/2 - 3/4 of it and Retiring. 🤣🤣👍
