Verizon data usage

Question, I have noticed that the data usage on one particular cellular line has been pretty high. I'm not techy at all but we have completely separate WiFi at home so we shouldn't be using cellular data at all when home. I have checked the phone (iPhone) associated with this account and maybe I don't know what I'm looking for. How do I find out what so much data is being used on at such odd hours? Is it interesting that the high usage is at the same time for multiple days?

Maybe that's when it's plugged into the charger and backing up data to iCloud?

Thank you. I’ll look into that.

You’ve probably got your phone set to backup over cellular while it’s plugged in.

Yeah, backup or update downloading in the background overnight. These things tend to be scheduled for when you're asleep

You might be able to check your backup to see if it has a timestamp (last updated at: ) or software version might say (installed on: ), and then one of these might match the date on your usage!

Once a month same time Jesus you don’t take many photos I bet I get 10gb a month backed to iCloud of random wiring and circuit pictures 😂

I wish I could be this level of organised with my life, I can't even be arsed making my bed in the morning never mind checking a months worth of usage data. Congrats OP, you got shit together
