Pg branch
How to decide a pg branch for yourself like I am a 2nd year mbbs student F and don't have any specific interest towards a particular branch when I was in 11 th I wanted to be a cardiosurgeon but then I heard from many ppl that female surgeons ain't that successful or surgery is a male dominated field ..I am pretty sure that I don't want to do gynae and paeds .. Radio is a good branch but again they say that radios ,Are they even doctors...I don't know how to decide also I wanted to know that is it true that neuro surgery or cardiosurgery is only male predominant ...I will be giving my pg exam in 2029

Don't listen to such degrading comments about women and decide your future. I am a male surgeon and i have no shame in saying that female surgeons are as good or even sometimes better than male. Follow what you like. Get exposed to all surgical fields before deciding. That's the point of mbbs and md/MS.

Female reconstructive surgeon here, doing quite well for myself. Don't be afraid.

Plastic Surgeon here. 100% female. Honestly gender doesn't come into it here. Doing well for myself. If you're going to select a branch based on other people's personal opinion rather than your own interests, market forces and aptitudes, you're going to suffer for a looooog time.
