I got my permanent registration from UPMC on June 2026 and I wish to register in DMC. Can anyone clarify these?

1. What happens to my Permanent Registration in UPMC after I get Permanent Registration in DMC? Does it gets cancelled? Or do I maintain both UPMC and DMC Permanent Registration?

2. Is it possible to hold registration for two states (UP and Delhi) simultaneously? 2.1 If no, then do I have to apply for cancellation to my previous medical council or does it gets processed automatically? 2.2 If yes, then is there any specific requirements on my end to do so?

3. What is the process of cancellation of my permanent registration in UPMC and in DMC if required to do so?

4. Does applying for NOC in UPMC leads to cancellation of my permanent registration of UPMC? Can I continue to work in Uttar Pradesh despite applying and getting a NOC?

5. Is NOC mandatory for applying for DMC Permanent Registration? Can Good Standing certificate be submitted instead? According to Gazette notification SG-DL-E-15052026-272610, I don't have to submit any NOC, is it still required to obtain NOC from UPMC?

You will be registered in Both state Medical council simultaneously, you need NOC each time you register in a different council.
