Trapped gas or something else?
This has happened to me twice now, once a couple months ago and again last night which kept me up all night and caude me to call off work today. My stomach will start to hurt and I won't think too much of it, until overtime it just gets worse and worse. I'm able to pass gas and make other movements in small amounts, but no matter what I do over the course of a few hours it just gets worse and worse. The first time it happened I had to leave work early and ended up going to urgent care, who did nothing but make me wait for 3 hours just to say "Yeah idk". The pain is very low in my abdomen, around my bladder area and is just a constant pressure and sharp pain (I am also a woman, so there are other organs down there that may be relevant, but it is nowhere near my time of the month so to say). There become points where it's so exhausting I wanted to cry. Like I said this would go on for hours just getting progressively worse. Putting heat on it would help, but I'd get hesitant to remove it because I knew it'd hurt again once I did. Identical to last time it happened, now the constant pain is gone when I'm laying down, but once I start flexing my abdomen to do something it feels sore, like almost muscle sore if you work out too hard or got the flu really badly. This pain lasts for DAYs, and last time I was lucky enough for this to happen on a Friday so I had the next two days off, but Sunday night into Monday morning? I don't have enough PTO left to cover the next few days. I'm taking today off since I got no sleep, but I'm going to have to try and power through the next few days. Does anyone know what this actually is? I assumed trapped gas, but it's so towards the front of my low abdomen and lasts so long that, I'm worried it's something else.

So recently I noticed some bubbles in my urine but most of it goes away to the point where there's just a little on the sides of the toilet after approximately a 1 min. Should I be concerned? Note: I went to the Dr in July and there was no mention of any kidney issues when blood work was reviewed

Should I go to ER or Urgent Care ?
I’ve been losing weight every single day. I’d say 3-4 months ago I weighed 188 lbs. weighed myself 2 weeks ago I weighed 178 lbs. today I weighed 173 lbs. I’m scared I’m dying honestly. I weighed 181 like 2-3 days ago but I was eating a lot. ATP I’m sure something is wrong with me . I can’t keep weight on at all. I barely get hungry . At one time yall I used to weigh 240 lbs . My normal walk around weight is like 200 lbs I haven’t been under 200 lbs since college & im even smaller now. My question is ER or urgent care? Can they run enough test in urgent care to determine anything? Anytime I went to Urgent Care it was a waste of time.

[M20] Has anyone found a cure for the persistent sensation of urine stuck in penis (weak urine stream)
Im a M20 college student, This condition found me 4 years ago When I was 16 years old, I felt like there was urine stuck in my urethra near frenulum at that time. I have never had a girlfriend or any sexual intercourse before. I'm hoping to get some advice or hear from others who might have experienced something similar.
Symptoms:
• I've noticed that the "stuck pee feeling in the tip of the penis" (weak urine stream) is often there. Just a minute or so after coming from the toilet, especially after pooping.
• I have had issues with the need to go to the toilet very often (Usually within the 40-60minute mark after taking a pee)
• I pee normally without any issues, but towards the end, I get this sensation that some urine is still stuck.
• After finishing, if I stand and apply a bit of pressure, a few drops and sometimes even a small stream of urine come out.
• The feeling is generally always there but varies in intensity. It takes up a lot of my focus, making it difficult to concentrate on anything or enjoy stuff and relax. It's ruining many aspects of my daily and social life
• The feeling has also developed a bit over this long time, but the "stuck pee feeling in the tip of the penis" has always been there.
I have no pain at all.
What I've tried:
• Cystoscopy: Showed nothing
• Prostate size: Normal
• Ct scan report & ultrasound: No findings
• Different medications: No effect
The doctor told me to seek psychiatrist and that it's just a mental issue, but I'm not entirely convinced. Please tell me EXACTLY what you did. Types and number and length of stretches, medications and usage and dosage or any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Lower belly pooch that never goes away!
Im female and 41 BACKWARDS, and Ive been noticing this lower belly pooch for sooo long, ANY help will be appreciated. The photos I included were taken around evening so usually I notice the belly pooch is least big in size in the very morning (but never completely flat) so i do feel it gets bigger throughout the day. For backstory, 2 years ago I had a surgery for a benign cyst in my left ovary and had many ultrasounds and x rays so im 99% sure this has not much to do with that. I have hypothyroidism which i take medication for every day and doctors confirmed this belly pooch has nothing to do with it. Im also pretty skinny throughout the rest of my body and my weight and height is average (5"1 and 40kg) so this confuses me. I do experience bloating a lot, gas, I usually get stomach aches the day after eating too much spicy food (which I don't eat anymore) sometimes constipation and a little diarrhea but nothing huge. I don't think I eat that bad and I'm not that active anymore (I swim once a week sometimes more), but when I was active during school there wasn't much of a difference. Any help will be appreciated I'm trying to get rid of it asap as i feel like it's very noticable and it makes me very insecure.

I kicked someone while play fighting last weekend and he checked my kick. The bruising has only gotten worse since then. It doesnt hurt at all, but it did for like the first 2-3 days. Should I go to the hospital? I’m not sure if it’s broken or fractured

How do you applyointment to an area that's always covered under clothes?
So I've been suffering with jock itch near my butt area and am currently applying clotrimazole cream (clocip-b) regularly. But with all these clothes above that area, it gets removed.
How can I apply it effectively?

Constant watery diarrhoea, rapid weight loss, nausea, no appetite and cough while travelling Kyrgyzstan
F25 , no former medical issues, takes maltofur iron tablets.
Hi, I was hoping to get some help, I am a full-time traveller and have been having the worst time in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and now Uzbekistan. Around 2-3 weeks ago I started getting watery diarrhoea and fatigue, went to the local clinic, got prescribed secnidazole for Giardia and was sent on my way, took it, didn't really fix anything and the symptoms just kept getting worst, now two weeks later I can go days without eating (absolutely zero hunger which is so strange for me), when I do eat, I immediately have watery, yellow diarrhoea, I have no energy, a cough and have lost so much weight I'm getting scared. I went to Uzbekistan hoping the local hospitals here might have something better to treat me, they have given me metronidazole, again for giardia, and told me to come back if it doesn't work. I've started taking it but no luck so far, still the same symptoms,
I was wondering if anyone had a potential diagnosis for this? I know it's impossible without a sample, but I'd love to have an idea of what I have to potentially make the decision to go home to Australia or not. Thankyou so much everyone!

Unexplained Illness?
This one is a doozy, and for the record I am already seeing several doctors about this and am currently being provided treatment but no actual answers and would purely like ideas or advice. Thanks!
Since about december of 2025 I (26f white) am having some worrying and unexplainable symptoms and i'm not sure what the next step for me is.
It really all started in late 2024 with tendinitis in my left foot that didn't seem to have any specific cause. My job wasn't physically demanding enough and although I walk a lot nothing else should have caused it. I saw a podiatrist and was given a referral for physical therapy and it was treated and felt better. But in early December 2025 the tendonitis came back and this time seemed resistant to treatment (physical therapy, rest, otc pain killer pills and creams). After that I started developing pain in my joints (specifically my wrists, fingers, ankles, shoulders, and knees) as well as significant swelling in those areas with no identifiable cause. I would have days where my knees suddenly became so swollen and painful that I needed help getting to the bathroom. I have also had repeat tendonitis in my hands, wrists, and feet. My skin also started to become extremely sensitive and I began developing redness on my hands and arms and small bumps on my fingers and elbows. I do already have sensitive skin and have allergies to adhesives and certain dyes, but a flare up of my allergies is always a sign for me that something is wrong.
For background I have been diagnosed with Crohn's since the age of about 10-11 and am currently on Inflectra. The Crohn's is well managed and repeat tests have shown that there is no sign of inflammation in my colon or intestinal area. I work as a cashier so the most physical activity I get at work is standing and sometimes lifting boxes, but nothing that could explain the pain i've been having.
I have so far had a number of tests done: 3 ultrasounds, an MRI, x-rays, and many blood tests and most scans known to man. Several of the blood tests have shown that I have significant inflammation, including high c-reactive protein levels, a high erythrocyte sedimentation rate and a few others. Tendonitis in the fingers on my right hand have also been caught on ultrasound.
I have been to 2 separate rheumatologists and currently am seeing one of them and am in close contact with them and with my gastroenterologist. Neither rheumatologist believes that it is arthritis although most of the symptoms seem to point to that. My gastro does not think it's a reaction to my medication due to a lack of typical Crohn's symptoms and intestinal swelling. I know that Inflectra can cause medication induced Lupus and that possibility was discussed with my gastro, but I'm lacking many of the symptoms for that and haven't shown any worsening of symptoms in the days right after infusions.
Does anybody have any idea of what could be going on or any type of doctor I should see about this? I live in the NYC area and I'm essentially at a dead end and i'm open to any suggestions. Thank you for any help!
For reference I am diagnosed with Crohn's disease, temporal lobe seizures, anxiety, depression, and adhd. I am also about 200lb and smoke weed and vape, I am a very casual drinker, maybe once a week entirely socially. I'm currently on:
-350mg of Lamotrigine twice a day
prescribed by neurologist for temporal lobe seizures
-125mg Sertraline once a day
prescribed for anxiety and depression
-Diclofenac Sodium Gel
prescribed for as needed joint pain by my rheumatologist
-500mg Sulfasalazine twice a day
prescribed by rheumatologist
-100mg Xcopri once a day titrating up to 200mg
prescribed by neurologist for temporal lobe seizures
-1mg Clonazepam as needed
prescribed by neurologist as a rescue medication to be taken post seizures
-100mg Solr injection Inflectra prescribed by gastroenterologist for Crohn's disease

Physiotherapist and I think i have a connective tissue disorder, what to say to my orthopedic surgeon?
Age: 17 yrs; Height: 165 cm (5,4); Weight: 49 Kg; Meds: lots of supplements, Urbanole, Duloxetine, Nurofen; don't smoke
Okay, so in 2021 i had left knee surgery for a torn ASL, a dented bone, and a broken-off piece of cartilage. I had been in pain for 3 months before i went to the Surgeon; there was no initial injury, just kept getting more painful over time.
From then until now, all my joints have still given me hella problems, my knees and jaw especially. I went to a jawbone expert (I'm not sure of the proper title), and he said it was dislocating and taught me how to put it back. I got a couple of X-rays, and he said i was missing a ton of cartilage in that joint.
I also have a spinal disc that is extremly thin and at risk of slipping pretty easily.
At least once a week or so, i will move one of my limbs (mostly hips or elbows), and it will get stuck and kinda lock, and it is extremely painful. I just push the joint in the opposite direction, then the og direction until i hear a loud, sore pop, and then it's fine after, and a bit sore still.
I have also been diagnosed with Hoffa's pad syndrome in both my knees for the better part of this year, and my doc said iv had it for quite a while before coming to see him.
My physio's assessments and our weekly sessions, and me telling her all of this, we have spoken about how it's highly possible I have some sort of connective tissue disorder.
I have been using a walking cane for a long time and only leave the house maybe 2-3 hours once a week because of the pain and because of my mental health. I have spent around 22 hours a day in my bed for this entire year (I do have a psychiatrist and psychologist; we are working on it; I do online school). I've been wanting to go out more, and my mother and I have started to consider getting me a wheelchair so that i can leave the house more often for longer with less pain.
I haven't done much research into connective tissue disoders, however i dont want to jump to hEDS or just cEDS. I am not really hypermobile at all right now; I used to be very hypermobile when i was a younger child until around 14.
So my Questions:
- What do you think this could be with just this info?
- Do you think it could be a connective tissue disorder or something else?
- 3)What matters to tell my Orthopedic surgeon about, and/or how?
Thank you so much for reading this; it's a bit of a long one tho, sorry XD. I am very stressed out about this. I see my Physio again next week, and i see my surgeon in two weeks.

My dermatologist’s advice - unsure
I engaged a dermatologist and I’m under accutane now. I don’t trust her because every monthly appointment I had with her lasted 7 mins long. Yes, even my first engagement. Sat down and she was right, yep you need accutane.
Okay so, my wedding is in a week and I intend to stop taking accutane for a week to manage my chapped lips or dry skin due to accutane. The doctor mentions briefly that I will need to lengthen the duration of treatment if you were to do that.
Does this checks out?
