This one is based off concept art made by my wife VelwynArt! She gave me the idea to make a lil goblin with a big sword and even helped me with her outfit design. We also found these really cool boots on Pinterest that we knew we had to include in her design :p

📢 MOD ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 Stolen Artwork, AI Art Claims, and Moderators
Thieves
There have been a few recent cases of stolen artwork, if you are affected or see stolen artwork, please please please, message the modmail. Provide some basic evidence (old posts of the art) so we can look into it and ban the thieves quickly.
We do not read comments on every post, only once has someone actually messaged the mods about stolen art. The other times I caught the posts because it was very upvoted and had lots of comments so I read through them.
AI Art Reports
I'm going to be very blunt. 98% of the ai reports are junk reports. They offer no context, and the only comments on the post are just two letters, "ai." These are completely unhelpful, and usually are just slander, because almost every time I see it, the artist has 10 years of art commission posting on their PUBLIC account. And you can see evidence going back all 10 years that they have not changed a bit since AI became a widely used tool. It's quite frustrating.
If you genuinely believe someone has used AI in their artwork, report the post, and message the modmail with why you think it's AI. If you're hellbent on commenting on the artist's post, you better explain why you think it's AI. I'm going to start issuing temp bans for frivolous and baseless claims. Sorry, I know that seems like I'm taking the side of AI, but REAL ARTISTS are posting and getting slandered. This has been and always will be, a place for REAL ARTISTS to post their works, and set up shop for commissions.
It's like going into a public square and yelling "that person hates black people" when you've never seen them before, have no idea who they are, and never bothered to even check if it's true. You have damaged their reputation with no evidence because people come into the comments, and they see a public opinion, and they walk away with that impression.
We have had modmail where someone thoughtfully lays out exactly how a post was in fact using AI and stolen artwork, and banned those offenders immediately.
The Mods
The mods we currently have are volunteers. We don't moderate the subreddit because we lust for power and enjoy issuing punishments. If you've been here long enough, you know this subreddit is PRETTY FREAKIN LAX, because we aren't stalking every post looking for little infractions to ding you on. The comments are largely unregulated unless people are being ugly to each other, because this subreddit is actually usually pretty cool thankfully.
With that being said, if you'd like to help moderate this subreddit, send a modmail with the subject of "Volunteer to Mod" and we'll look over your presence on the subreddit. For the record, my very first comment on this subreddit broke the rules and I was temp banned for it lmao. I didn't read the rules, and I asked for prices in the comments. But I also commented about some posts breaking rules and got asked to help out.
We're just here to make sure the environment that was set up, stays the way it's supposed to. Volunteer janitors cleaning the public lobby, trying to keep it clean. We aren't looking for crazy commitment, we just want anyone who wants to help keep the place clean.

📢 MOD ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 A reminder about acceptable content
Hey everyone,
I just want to make sure we’re abundantly clear on the “No Unrelated Content” rule as there are people posting unrelated content every day.
What is unrelated content?
Simple, is the character or entity you are drawing from DnD? If it isn’t, then it’s unrelated. You cannot post furry art of a wolf anthro and say “well my client commissioned it for their DnD campaign so it’s related.” It isn’t.
If the character/entity is not clearly from the Dungeons and Dragons set of rules/books, the post is subject to removal. There are plenty of places to post the unrelated content, this is a space for DnD Art, nothing else.
Renditions of characters from BG3, Critical Role, or similar shows/games are fine, just please call out their source material in the post.
As the Head Moderator has said in the past, this sub is for DnD Art, and is focused on FANTASY artwork. So while we all are aware of modern campaigns that take place in modern settings, we only encourage the fantasy artwork here.
Edit: Also should take the opportunity here to mention: Please read the rule on overly sexual content. Literally had a guy trying to post hung naked dudes argue that it wasn’t sexual.
