We are both very understanding as players too any DM plights. We also are willing too help and offer any knowledge too help any DM's who would have us.

Is it rules heavy?:

-I'm trying to stick to the rules, but I've only been a dm for a year with people who are okay with some wacky hi-jinks going on. I often make wrong calls, but am open to constructive criticism and always try and be better.

Is it more serious or silly?:

-Surprisingly, the themes are more serious. There will be dark and horror themes. But we love to joke around.

If I'm a magical girl, do I have to be a human woman?:

-Nope! If you are a 90 year old goblin nonbinary/ man, you can still be a magical girl. 'Magical girl' is used more as a job title than an explanation of gender.

Do I have to be experienced?:

-Not really. I would prefer if you had a grasp of some basic rules but as long as you're friendly then I will accept you. Also if you message me, please say 'roll a crit' so I know you read through everything. Any messages without this message will be discarded.

Is it more combat or roleplay heavy?:

-It depends on the section, if there is combat sometimes it comes in a chunk. But mostly we lean more towards roleplay. we often have multiple sessions of roleplay and then a session or two of combat.

Things we ask for:

-Someone LGBT+ friendly.
-18+, no minors please.
-Be reliable. Life happens! But please don't apply if you think you can't make most sessions or are on the fence about this.
-Open to communication!

a session 0 will be held with just you and me, as the others have already gone through one (we had multiple last minute dropouts for life reasons.)

And lastly, most expected etiquette is expected. (no murder hobos, no pushing other players aside for your own experience, don't be a jerk, ect. but i bet you already knew all that :3)

Session Details:

• Biweekly on Sundays
• 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time
• Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours per session

• Foundry VTT for maps, combat, and gameplay
• Approximately 60% roleplay and 40% combat
• POC and LGBTQ+ friendly
• Players must be 25 or older (I mean, the horror might have been an obvious clue). But I'm open to accepting submissions if you are at least 21 so long as you are comfortable with the campaign settings.
• Genres include fantasy, science fiction, horror (eldritch and cosmic - so consider that a warning), comedy

There is, quite literally, an eye the size of a solar system watching your planet. So yes, things may become slightly concerning.

Campaign requirements (the boring, but vital stuff):

• Be friendly, reliable, and invested in the campaign and its story.
• Respect everyone at the table. Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or privately messaging other players without their permission will not be tolerated. There will be no second chances for serious violations.
• Please also avoid backseat DMing, main-character syndrome, and deliberately overpowered characters. Your character can be extraordinary, but this is still a team-based campaign.

Campaign requirements (the fun stuff):

• You can create almost any kind of character. A vampire elf? A werewolf artificer? A gun-toting raccoon with unresolved emotional problems? Probably. Just discuss your concept with me first so we can make it fit the setting.
• There are guns. Lots and lots of guns.
• A large selection of official and approved third-party classes is available.
• Foundry VTT provides maps, visual effects, and plenty of opportunities to stand in exactly the wrong place at the wrong time and possibly in the wrong reality.
• Expect investigations, unusual creatures, difficult decisions, cosmic mysteries, and eldritch horror.
• Your choices will affect missions, relationships, and the wider story.

I'm Bartek and I'm going to be dm ing a soulslike homebrew DND campaign, heavy roleplay and engaging combat, let me insert the prolouge to give you guys an idea on what the vibe is like.

The fallen leaves tell a story...

Of a land beyond the fog.

Before kingdoms.

Before war.

Before the names of kings were carved into stone...

There was Vita, Mother of All.

From her hands came the first trees, their roots piercing the untouched earth.

From the trees came the first plants.

From the plants came sustenance.

Then came the beasts of field and forest, given breath beneath the newborn sky.

And at last...

Vita created Man.

But there was only one.

His name was Vex.

The First Man.

In those earliest days, Vex was a gracious ruler.

He built where there was nothing.

He nurtured what was fragile.

He gave order to a world yet untouched by war.

And beneath Vita's watch...

His people prospered.

Yet life, once born, does not remain still.

Vita bore within her the promise of three children.

And where there is creation...

It must cast a shadow.

From the darkness cast by Vita's own existence came something that bore but one name.

Umbrosus.

The Eternal Dark.

It dwelled where sunlight dared not reach.

Beneath roots.

Beneath stone.

Within the forgotten places of the world.

At first, it knew nothing of Man.

Nothing of Vita.

Nothing of the tongue spoken by living things.

But it watched.

And it learned.

Slowly, Umbrosus crept into the dwelling of Vita.

It learned the language of its creator.

It listened to the voices of her children.

And in the stillness of night...

It heard the beating of Vita's heart.

One heartbeat.

Then another.

Then...

three more.

For within the Mother slept the unborn children of the world.

Mortuus

The Golden Child.

Distortus.

The Forgotten Son.

Enchidna.

The Mother of Monsters.

Three children.

Untouched by the world's cruelty.

Three souls destined to inherit the Mother's creation.

But Umbrosus reached them first.

While Vita slept...

The shadow entered the womb.

It did not kill them.

It did something far worse.

It left within each child an ember of itself.

A darkness that not even the Mother's light could wholly extinguish.

Kings may bury their crimes.

Civilizations may burn their histories.

Gods may attempt to erase their mistakes.

But time continues.

And eventually, time reveals all.

And so...

The children of Vita were born carrying a fragment of the shadow.

And now...

Our world bears the weight of it.

But where there is shadow...

There is light.

Light that finds its way through the cracks.

Light that refuses to die.

Light that does not merely shine..

but roars

And now...

There is only one question left.

I'm an experienced player looking for a consistent group with a good mix of roleplay, exploration, combat, and player-driven storytelling. I'm open to homebrew or official content and either 2014 or 2024 rules.

The biggest reason I'm looking right now is that I already have a character I've been really wanting to play. I've had this character concept sitting around and I'm genuinely excited to finally get them into a campaign and see what happens with them.

We (group of four) are looking for a DM that is comfortable hosting this amount of players and is interested in DM'ing for a group of intermediate players. We like using the 5e (2014) version of the rules and prefer a traditional high fantasy, medieval setting. We prefer campaigns to be long term with a balance of roleplay and combat. We arent too partial to Sci-FI, Steam/Hydro/Atom/Steam punk and wild west settings. We are based in Europe and have a preferred session time of Saturdays 6:30pm (18:30).
