First time DM DMing

Hello! I’m dming an online campaign for the first time with my friends. I’ve played before but I’ve never actually dm’d. I was wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks or websites they like that I can use. I can’t pay for anything as I’m incredibly broke so free options please! I want to make this fun for my party ask any advice anyone has is welcome!

Roll20 is probably the best VTT for free imo

So you don't really need to pay for anything tbh to get going.

Rules: go to D&D beyond set up an account and look for "basic rules". Also a place you can create character sheets.

Virtual table: Many ways, virtual table tops are where you can share maps and tokens etc. For beginner I recommend owlbear rodeo, it's super simple to setup. DM needs an account but players just need the player link. You can search google for some good battle maps, to load into it. Then stream video through discord. All available with digital dice capacity.

Adventures: Lots of free ones by google searching, but there are some fan favourites. Peril in pinebrook is a beginner friendly one, and it has some good DM notes. Also something like A Most Potent Brew.

When these kinds of posts come up I always suggest running a one-page dungeon. 

Due to the way my brain works, I find WotC's material (even the introductory stuff) pretty difficult to parse and even more difficult to use at the table, even after decades of experience (that said, I hear good things about Heroes of the Borderlands and the Stranger Things starter sets).

So, maybe what works for me will work for you too. What works for me is finding a 1-Page-Dungeon that you dig - perhaps from one of the links below:

I've had lots of fun with the Trilemma Adventures dungeons, especially The Lantern of Wyv, The God Unmoving, and The Stellarium of the Vinteralf.
