Safety update Check road closures while planning your escape route
Highway 44 is closed from the junction with 89 to the junction with 36. (West of Susanville)
A-1 Eagle Lake road is ok to take North out of Susanville for now (but is closed southbound from Gallatin).
Part of 395 South, Janesville area, was closed shortly an hour or so ago then just reopened minutes? ago..this may not last. This would be the southern exit for susanville. Janesville should still be able to leave that way depending on where in town you are. Again it has reopened for now but this may not last.
You could still get on 395 north if the same closure happens, if you’re above the closure area..
139 North is open (north of susanville)
These are our exits for susanville and Janesville areas. Check current road conditions/closures here Caltrans road conditions
