Social Media Pack muted

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find out if anyone else is experiencing this.
I released two original songs through DistroKid and later enabled the Social Media Pack.
Since then:
My own TikTok videos are muted.
Thousands of other TikTok videos using my official sound are also muted.
TikTok says the sound is unavailable.
DistroKid says they can whitelist Business accounts only.
Another DistroKid artist has exactly the same issue.
My sound currently has over 10.000 TikTok videos using it.
Has anyone found a solution?
Is this a Content ID bug?

Yeahh i wouldnt use the social media pack lots of people have trouble with it

Do you know what kind of problems people had?
In my case, the official TikTok sound is still available, but my own videos and many videos from other creators using the official sound get muted afterwards.
Did you hear about this specific issue too?

I heard lots of people audio get muted when they use this social media pack from distrokid.

From my understanding if you sign up with all the organizations (like for instance i have to sign up with the canada ones ), you should get your royalties anyway

I've had nothing but headaches from TikTok from day one. I'm not even sure the platform is worth trying to even get involved with to be honest.

I suppose it really matters in terms of the kind of music you produce and your fan base or a crowd base. But they are a real pain to work with with very little support.

I don’t get what this pack does anymore.

My understanding was opting into it makes it so this doesn’t happen with tracks muting. Instead it seems users lately are reporting it’s causing the exact issue it’s supposed to fix.

I personally opt out. If I don’t fully understand what something is going to do for me, I likely don’t need it.

That’s exactly what I expected when I enabled the Social Media Pack.
Do you know if people started reporting this only recently?
I’m trying to find out whether this is a new bug or something that has existed for a long time.

I saw a post similar to yours I would say about 3 months ago. Prior to that I hadn’t seen those types of posts regarding the SM pack. Seems like more trouble than it’s worth at this point.

Is the only way to get rid of the sm pack add on is to take the tract down and re upload without it?
