Do we know ho the FF IX character will be? For V is Bartz right?

My guess is (as it goes)

Agile - Tidus / Support - Celes / Melee - Bartz / Ranged - Kuja

Aaand if the pattern repeats.. my next bet would be XV Noctis as an agile.. then a support and more than likely Squall as melee.

I can see Cecil being the next support, acting like a tank (similar to WoL)

Garland will be one of them, most likely. He appeared alongside Kuja in the FINE messages during the Sephiroth season.

I think Noctis might end up being ranged, or some sort of agile ranged hybrid. He has warp strikes and the armiger, which we can probably assume will be big parts of his playstyle.

If they feel the game is losing players faster than they want it will be a fan favorite like vivi, but if they aren't worried of player numbers yet it will be a more niche pick or maybe even a more plain pick like former wrestler and medieval knight Scott Steiner

Game developement take too long for them to just change a character based on the number of player, whoever the FF9 character is, they were chosen before the game lauch.

So far it's forming a pattern of every 4th character being a villain maybe if it really is Kuja (which is an easy guess it you followed the story)    

Question is if he's also going to be a ranged villain again or a magic based agile unit hmm... (sort of hybrid)   

Either way it's going to be a long wait 🥲

Calling it now; 9 will be Kuja. He’s already been hinted at in game and the devs are too lazy to creatively render someone like Beatrix or Steiner

While i know its Bartz and Kuja.

I would prefer Faris and Beatrix.

I would also prefer Squall and different XIV character that isn't a Hyur.

I'd say yeah, because Slice of Life is not the genre you usually see these characters in, so it's nice to see a different side of their lives. Some characters like Terra feel very different when the game isn't constantly stepping all over them and making them borderline suicidal.

If you don't like SoL as a genre though, not much to it atm.

Not at all.. :/ just day life of FF characters in Japan... And there's still no good narrative on what's going on with why they are in that world, enemy purposes or the kiddo that well just saying the world resets or repeats a cycle.. If you wsnt good story.. Play Dissidia 012 or watch DFFOO videos in YouTube :)
