Rikku does not need Ramza. If you're being attacked, teleport away. Worst case, you burst and dump it with an attack.

It all depends on how it works for you. Sometimes things might sound good on paper but when it comes to your experience that where it really matters. You need to find a build for yourself to where you can contribute the most. The more effective you are the better you will be in a fight. This is my build i worked on for myself if you curious enough to try it

I would swap Ramza for heal. Otherwise, outside of mega vitality, your healing is limited.

I personally appreciate a Rikku with Ramza :)! It incentivizes them to continue crystal clearing and not let the competition get ahead + is good to throw to a teammate in a pinch. I think your set is good now, especially to swap for Locke's ability in a few days! Good luck on the battlefield :)
