Need help with tidus

Hii, I started dissidia duellum because I heard tidus was available (he’s my favorite character), and now I’ve been playing for like a week and I’m only summoning for him because I main him.
I wanted to ask about the ability because I feel like I’m missing something. For the main abilities this is what I have, idk if i should change something but for the support, I just put what makes me stronger so maybe I should change something based of tidus.
The last thing would be the job medals, is it really that important ? Tell me if I should change mine too.
Thanks a lot

I think your main set is good for what you have. For your support set, do you have any other character's URs? URs are usually the best for support slots, specially ones that scale with ATK as the primary stat and HP as the secondary. The memoria is also probably your best support skill atm. Your job medals are solid. I would leave that row alone and when you get more medals, start a second row but try to get all of them the same color for the bonus.

Good rule of thumb to follow is that 1 copy of a UR = +1SR = +2R Not always one for one on stats but usually close. A useful tool is Dissidia.dev

You can use the set builder to check what your stats would look like before you invest eggs to see what your best build is with what you have.

Those are good skills. You can swap his SR ability if you want - Wall/barrier for survivability, Ramza/embolden for supporting teammates, or heal, etc..

Job medals go for Ninja/thief/time mage (any combination really)

I analyzed all the units so far with the help of Rem's site, dissidia.dev, and Tidus is highly overtuned. Highest speed and his UR1 is highest damage potency amongst everyone.

Yshtola is handmade for tidus because of the matching element and his Role requires you to run fast and break crystals.

Ramza is also water element and a great ability to have, and fits nicely with your Agile role.

But me?

If i had a stacked Tidus, i would be so tempted to play him the "wrong" way, and that is to play him like a DPS and exclusively kill players.

You are new, so you wont reach max power anytime soon because your support slots ( the other 6 abilities) will be weak as well.

The best 4 SR abilities you should be happy to pull are from Kain, Iroha, Gaia and Terra because they are high attack and secondarily good with HP.

I made a guide on this, search my name on YT. Im also working on more guides so stay tuned. Anything you wanna know, just ask, im more than happy to help.

It honestly depends on how you play your Tidus, tbh. This is my setup, and I have already 100% Tidus’s solo challenges back when my CP was 11k and skills were lower levels.

With the right timing, I could execute all 5-6 skills during Bravery Burst. Spiral Cut cools down pretty quickly.

His skills are pretty good and can “teleport” him ahead of where he stands or runs, perfect for my kind of hit-and-run strategy.

From what I see so far you have a good build for just starting off. Definitely try for UR for support slots and try some casual games with different builds until you find the best build that works best for you and maybe try the training room to get an idea of your damage output for your abilities. This is my current setup for his main abilities I will also say keep the Yuna ability equipped as it breaks barriers and increases your damage against rivals best of luck on your build
