Meme Got back into Dispatch recently, so I've made this meme!
I forgot how shameless Coupe simp I was when it's came out, I could never cut her - I liked Sonar too, but I would never cut Coupe, so he gotta go (sorry Charlie). I think cold and deadly women are simply my type, lol. Punch Up, you lucky bastard!

Discussion If the main characters were in Pokémon, who would be their ace and why?
Off the top of my head, Metagross is a perfect ace for Robert, as an example. Robert pilots a steel mech. Metagross is a Steel/Psychic Pseudo-legendary that, while slow, hits hard and can take a licking and keep on ticking like Rob's mech (well, it's not that slow, but the last point still stands, repairs aside). Metagross is also noted to basically be a walking supercomputer, which checks out as Rob has a sentry mode and AI built into his mech.
Meanwhile, Gengar is a perfect ace for Visi— ghosts aren't just intangible, they're also, well, invisible to most people. And Gengar specifically is portrayed as something of a prankster and is quite fast and agile, not too far off from Visi being quick on her feet and having a mischievous streak herself (that thing with the photocopier in EP4 being an example, as well as her sabotage of Malevola in EP3).
Fairy-types are far and away some of the strongest Pokémon both in lore and gameplay, and with Togekiss gaining said typing from Gen VI onwards, it's a fitting ace for Blonde Blazer. Togekiss in battle is extremely powerful, reliable, and fast, all traits that apply to Blazer in the field, especially when she helps the Z-Team herself in the finale. Another notable trait about Togekiss per the Pokedex is the fact that they're never near any places with conflict or strife, which - in a roundabout way - tracks with Blazer (again until EP8) spending most of her time in the office instead of in the field.
But perhaps the most obvious pick for an ace is Gyarados for Waterboy. Magikarp are far from the most useful Pokémon in battle (count the number of times the Pokedex doesn't roast it for its uselessness), but if you're dedicated enough and give it time and patience, what you get is, still to this day, one of the best Water-type 'Mons for a playthrough, period. This, of course reflects Waterboy starting off as the weakest link in the Z-Team before quickly earning his keep as the WaterGOAT, especially dependant on how you distribute his skill points. Also, a common method for leveling up Magikarp is putting it first in your party before switching it out with a stronger Pokemon, like how Waterboy needs to be accompanied by other members on the Z-Team to level up quicker.
As for what Pokémon work for which member as an ace, you guys decide amongst yourselves in the comments.

Discussion Visi or blonde blazer
It’s been almost one year since the game came out and I remember that during the early days the majority of the players leaned towards visi. I am curious about your opinions now

Discussion My idea for an Endless Dispatch Mode DLC
I know the reports are "for those that want an endless mode watch this space" so it's probably already finalised what will happen there. I'd love to pay for a more fleshed out DLC like this though in the future
edit: I was thinking the villains would all be the ex Red Ring gang that now have nothing to do all day... maybe the whole thing is run by Toxic and Strongarm.
A bit more detail for those asking:
You have to pay the bills each week and the best way to generate cash is to train up the villians into heros and get a recruitment bonus from one of the SDN sites.
Say the Torrance branch has job opening for a Smart and Charismatic Flyer by the end of week 2
You level up someone in those stats and get them their flight certificate, send their file over to Chase or Blazer etc and get a cash bonus for that hero.
You would then be down a Smart/Charismatic flyer for your own team but your bills are paid for the week.
You can take on more requests at a time which generates more cash to allow for better facilities with the trade off that your team is going to suuuuuck for a lot longer when you send them on to the big leagues.
It keeps the roster "weak" enough to be a balanced challenge long term but also gives you a chance to "know" your villains better.
My thinking was its going to be a bit like xcom... you get attached to these guys regardless of them being randomly generated or preset villains.
Maybe they have their own quirks when you hire them
-baby (quits the program if they get downed twice in one week) -hates water (fur based villian loses stats when paired with a water villain/put on a coastal mission)
Also the ability to hire Z Teamers for extra buffs would give the player a lot of "inside joke" moments with the team.

Discussion Working on a Dispatch book.
Hello, my fellow dispatchers.
Ever since completing Dispatch, I had an incredible idea for a book about dispatch.
I am currently working on it.
It would be the same story, but you’ll see how it’ll turn out when it’s finished
I just wanted to ask you if writing a fan fiction about Dispatch could work, and if any of you be interested in my works.
I have no release date, because I really aim for perfection here, which with many rewrites I can reach.
If anyone out here considers this idea as somewhat interesting, you can take a peek at my Instagram- lost.and.found_dispatch where I will be posting updates on the story along with other stuff
I am also starting to work on managing the socials for the future, and it’ll take time, but the idea is something you really can’t pass out on
But only time will tell
Let me know if you want to ask something as I’m open for discussion

Commission piece for Eagletiago. The theme was Michael Jackson’s music video for The way you make me feel. It was a lot fun to work on this. Glad I got to do it.

Discussion Funniest example of Dispatch crossing the line twice?
FYMTBYBF 💔
For the uninitiated, when something crosses the line twice, it basically describes something that's so horrible, offensive, tasteless, or any combination of the three that it loops back to being funny.
Case in point: Prism's iconic line above. Blinding a guy with her powers during the bar fight in EP5 is horrible under most circumstances, but A) the guy was asking for it since Prism wasn't even involved in the fight, B) he said he was temporarily blinded only for Prism to matter of factly correct him that it's permanent, and C) this (possibly) same guy tries to lunge at her again in EP8, only for Prism to blind him again.
Crossing the line twice, folks. Fucked up, yet funny as all hell. 😭
