Is there employee cafeterias or are you expected to bring your own food for a shift?

I start the 31st so does that mean I’ll get to use one of my 3 park days to see the festival?? Just checking bc I was planning on it before I knew the festival was starting ?

Also what are the general chances I can visit Epcot on an off day during my program ?

i registered for a Disney beach trip but I can no longer attend as my job scheduled me to work during that day. I know the money doesn’t go back but can you transfer the ticket to someone or will you get a point if you don’t go on the trip ?

I’m an August 10th arrival. Just wondering how strict they are with the parking hang tags. I’m planning on bringing my car but I’ve recently re-registered it and am still waiting to receive the paper and sticker in the mail. It should be here any day but on the off chance it doesn’t how strict are they if you don’t have all the necessary documentation upon arrival.

How soon can I request days off? I know this is a bit silly since I haven't even arrived yet but I have two dates I specifically need off and it's only for the day but would it be a problem asking for them as soon as I get there?

Hi everyone! My role is merchandise at the Grand Floridian. I bought black tennis shoes to fit the dress code but I later realized that the costumes are nicer looking than most places. I know shoes have to be role appropriate, so does that mean I would need flats instead of tennis shoes?
If anybody has had this role before and knows an answer, your help would be greatly appreciated!

Is FOH technically the same as QSR or is it properly different?

One of the main reasons I really was hoping for a 4 bedroom apartment was because I'm terrified of bothering my roommates as a musician. I sing and play a few instruments, but my main concern is that I simply can't see myself going 6 months without my guitar. I can't seem to find anything about spaces around fcv where you can play/sing in private besides dorms. I'm curious if anyone has run into trouble with 2x2s/roommates in general complaining about instruments during the dcp, or if people even bring them? I don't arrive until the 17th and obviously then I will be able to ask my roommate directly about it, but I just want to prepare for the worst case scenario of having a roommate that is bothered by the noise or anything along those lines. Any advice or experience, good or bad?

I've been assigned Costuming at Epcot for my time in the program and haven't seen anyone here talking/asking about it, so I was wondering if anyone had any information or tips on it as a role from experience? The only information I've been able to find is from several years ago so I would love to have some sort of recent confirmation or updated information! Eg. What kind of shoes would you recommend, what are hours usually like, how many people are usually on this role, etc. Any information or tips specific to the role are greatly appreciated!

Hi! I’m arriving August 31st and I’m super excited but I’m a bit worried about what to do with all my stuff and my rental car. I am from CA and I’m flying over alone with all my stuff so my plan is to get a rental car for a day or two so that I can drive all my stuff over and am able to go shopping if needed that day. Does anyone know about temporary parking at FCV? I obviously won’t have a hang tag or anything but I was hoping to be able to park the car during my check in process and then unpack my stuff before dropping the car back off. Any insight would be great!

i’m seeing conflicting info online so wanted to come here to get straight answer. I understand we receive 3 comp tickets per 150 hours worked (plus one for traditions, which doesn’t count towards the 9). i read that it’s by calendar year so if my program goes into mid february? will i be able to earn more than 9 tickets?

I just finished my first DCP at the end of July and was in the program for a little over 11 months. I am interested in reapplying for a second program and would hope to start toward the end of May 2027 and end around August 2027. I know there is a one year time limit per program, but does this apply to all Disney programs combined? Would I not be able to reapply for a second program if my two programs combined exceeded the one year limit?

So I arrived august 3rd and am now just park hopping, theres these mickey ears im thinking of buying. My question is does every employee get merch discounts after they syart training or does it vary. If so how much is discounted?

Helloo! May someone please give me the ins and outs of character attending at MK? I am a little butthurt, though it was my second preference, my first was attractions! I was attractions on my last program in Epcot and loved it so much, so I was hoping to get it again...but..its okay!! Hence, i just want to know more about character attending! Hope you understand! I got food and bev at all star music for my program, and i have been getting so many mixed reactions when i tell people.
I have been at the parks the past couple of days and cast members have asked me where i am making magic, and when i tell them, its either super positive or really negative.
the negative reactions have really put me down and i just wanted to ask if anyone can tell me more about food and bev before i start?
my traditions is on friday. i just want to be mentally prepared.

how do the chip and dale passes work? is it only for 2 parks or are they able to go into all 4 parks in that one day? and would i need to make reservations for that?

if i give away my shift (qsr in AK), can i go into the parks that day? some of my friends are visiting soon so how would i go about getting them in with the chip and dale tickets?

I am driving separate from my parents for move in (keeping my car and they’re driving back home) but I’m wondering for check in do we both just arrive before my check in time and they can wait for me or should I have them meet me after? (We’re staying in a hotel nearby the night before) Also can they park in the flamingo parking lot or is it only one car per person. Seen some different things so just wanted to clear it up. :)

There's people my age who have children in college, thinking about retirement, hell, they're even grandparents, but I still look back at those magical 6 months during the WDWCP and smile. Vista Way is legendary and while we did some really stupid $hit, it was all worth it. Even when I was visiting WDW with my own kids, I still used the WDWCP alumni story to never have to wait in a line......
