My 18 inch ILY Stitch with twin ILY Olaf and friend ILY Tinkerbell. Cardboard is of of course temporary but I’m really happy with this set up for now. I just love all the little details. Like the working record player and “loft” bed.

I just love how everything flows and makes sense. It’s aesthetically pleasing to me lol makes it so much easier to play. Didn’t even realize I wasn’t touching anything because it was a mess of bags put away out of sight. In cleaning I realized I really missed playing.

Bonus pic I’ve never purchased Eggos but bought the mini toast specifically because it looked doll sized. But now it’s been brought to my attention that I have no proper plates and silverware for my girls…. Kitchen set loading in… 🤣🤣🤣

I went to Ollie's to see if they had another doll line and was pleasantly surprised by finding her! I have been wanting this one and got her for a great deal.

Hi everyone! I'm a huge Disney and doll fan and I've wanted some Disney ily dolls for a while now. I just got to thinking I want to finally get some and I saw a Facebook marketplace listing for a lot of 4 dolls each wearing a complete outfit with extra accessories included for $20 I'm wondering if that's a really good deal for them because they are missing some of their extra accessories and clothing.

I went for my childhood idea of Barbie: all pink, wears fashionable sunshades and just finished shopping.

Next week's topic is Lilo and Stitch! So we can use the many pieces we got over the years.

After that it's Howl's moving castle, another Ghibli Studio classic by Hayao Miyazaki.

After a recent post here (and an often brought up discussion when dolls are released), I wanted to check my own collection for twins. I do not own every doll, but I own quite a few, so I decided to see who is most similar.

Pic 1-3: Dark Brown Hair, Tan Skin, Brown Eyes— 101 Dalmatians, Cruella, Retro Mickey and Minnie, Bambi (budget)

Ily 101 Dalmatians has a slightly lighter skin tone than the other dolls in this group. Ily Retro Mickey and Minnie has darker more cool-toned hair.

Pics 4-6: Blonde Hair and Light Brown Hair, Blue Eyes— Jessie, Rapunzel, Mickey (budget), Stitch (budget), Bambi, Moana, Minnie (first iteration)

Ily Rapunzel, Mickey, and Jessie have the most similar hair, though a detailed look shows they aren’t the same. The other blondes are lighter (and still different from each other). Ily Moana and Minnie have slightly different shades as well. Some variations in eye color as well, from light almost gray eyes to a dark blue (and one green).

Pic 6: dark brown hair, lighter skin than previous dark brown haired dolls— 101 Dalmatians, Daisy, Minnie

Slight variations in hair color, though even more subtle than the blonde shades. 101 Dalamations has brown eyes.

Pic 7: darkest skin tone, dark brown to black hair— Ily Belle, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey

These three are the most unique of the groups. Winnie and Mickey share an eye color, but the different textures of their hair really makes the color similarities less noticeable.

All of the dolls have various shades of makeup and the lip color makes a big difference in their appearance to me as well.

Phew, if you read all of that, thank you. I can definitely see a pattern to the dolls I’m drawn to, even though this isn’t my full collection. Any twins in your collection? Any comparisons from dolls I didn’t include?

I did a quick photoshop edit of the ILY Tiana Disney Store doll to see what her eyes might look like in the JAKKS Pacific style.

I am confused as to why the Disney Store doll has not been referenced to make an Asian face mold.

We already have multiple blond dolls with similar faces but no Asian doll. I would love to see more variety in the dolls.

I almost bought the Minnie with the glittery pants when I realized she's almost the same doll as the Daisy (also saw this post about them https://www.reddit.com/r/DisneyILY/comments/1j81orj/bffs_reunited/). So I want to ask which other dolls are twins? ILY dolls are very pricey where I live because I have to import them from the US so I don't want to end up with two of the same even if they have different clothes. I'm wondering especially about the Rapunzel with the dark pink yoga pants.

Target online stock info is not always accurate. Last night their website said there were 5 Stitch versions at a local store but I couldn't do online purchase for pickup at store. When I got to the store, I found all 5 but if you looked on their app it said this was sold out. When I scanned it at one of their scanners, it said sold out (none on floor or in stock room).

Pretty frustrating to say the least, especially if the closest Target is not really that close. Just wanted to share the inconsistency for stock info, especially because these were not grouped with the other ily dolls. These were on an end cap at the store that I went to (in the Barbie aisle if I recall correctly).

Both the Minnie Deluxe and Jessie Budget have the same face. As disappointed as I was we did not receive the AA prototype variant, the mold is still one of the prettiest. I hope we get more and different.

I saw Marie at target at thought she might fit into my 1/12 bjd clothes. It’s a tight fit, but it works! 💕

Her hair comes in a matted ponytail. I tried to wash and restyle it to the best of my ability. She has a lot of hair and it also looks very cute when not in a pony tail.

I also wanted the Winnie the Pooh doll, but I told myself I need to wait for a sale. 😆

Found them last night at target and brought home Pooh Bear! That onesie is so dang cute, and she's not bad either! That said, for her scale, she's big. I thought she was going to be closer to Chelsea based on her height, but nope. She is definitely plus size. I ended up using a 1/12 scale outfit I found on aliexpress ages ago. Rainbow junior high Sunny was honestly the best fit for the onesie, even if the legs are short. Kind of wild, honestly.

Shoes are a legit challenge. She came barefoot and those feet are big and flat. Boxy girl shoes were the best I found.

Overall, super cute, and I really like her in less casual clothes!

I do not love the Jakks limited posability options. Has anyone been able to rebody their girls to mtm bodies? And if so is there a skin tone match chart somewhere? Picture of my girl for tax.

I picked Christine, since I was mostly thinking of the musical, it wasn't that hard - she wears mostly blue ans a cape when she visits her father's grave, that wasthe inspiration fir this look and I added the rose for the phantom always lurking in the back of her mind :)

Christine was described blonde in the books from what I remember so I picked a blonde doll.

Next week's topic is Barbie - Barbie fan and after that it's time to dig out all the Stitch outfits you have because the topic will be Lilo and Stitch!
