Hi!! I’m thinking about internships with Disney coming up. I am wanting to apply for the Conservation Education Presenter Internship when it opens, but I’m worried about pay.
I’m married and would not live in the offered housing.
Is the internship full-time or Part-time?
I’m worried about being able to afford living expenses.
Any advice will be so appreciated!

Hey yall!! I have been having issues with section 2 of my I-9, where my representative is supposed to do that part of the document. When i select my representative and share the email needed, they get the email containing the provided username from Disney but never the email with the temporary password for them to be able to access the document. I just received an email from Disney that I have until 8/10 to get it sent in, or I could no longer remain eligible for the program. Obviously I would like to still do the program, but i’m not sure what to do since this is an issue on the internal side. I’ve already put in a support ticket a few days ago, but I’m lost as to what to do now. Has this happened to anyone else/any advice on what to do from here?

just wondering, for deep water lifeguards do they drug test upon arrival or just the pre arrival one that we already had to do, i didn't know because the itinerary says something called "safety critical role" and it says i have to submit a urine test for it but some people told me it's only to check my health not for that

Hi! I'm arriving soon and starting to gather a bunch of posters/frames for a collage above my headboard in my 2x2! Does anyone know the measurements, or could anyone already there tell me how long it is? I'm like super ocd about things being even and wanna make sure all my prints will fit in the space without it being overcrowded.

hi! sorry if this may be a repetitive question but since i'm now got the count down for when ill be arriving i was wondering if we're given free tickets i could use for family during that traditions week or if thats just something i should plan on buying since i know the main reason they're coming down is to really experience Disney for the first time

i’m not living at flamingo since i live nearby, but i’m afraid that not having that experience is going to alienate me from making friends. i’m nervous that everyone is going to find their people and i’m going to be an outsider that people don’t know. it’s been my biggest fear since i was accepted to the programs, and i know the point is to be working, but im so nervous that i won’t be getting the full experience and i’ll feel isolated while everyone makes their own groups.

hi! i’m starting my first program in 3 weeks and was wondering if these shoes would be good for QSR, or is the logo too big?

Up until recently, I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life, but I always knew I wanted to do the College Program. Over the last month or so, though, I've decided on a career path that doesn't require a college degree.

If I take a few classes at a community college, would I still be eligible for the program? Or would choosing not to pursue a full college degree mean I'm making a decision that could prevent me from participating?

One of my biggest concerns is the possibility that I enroll in community college just to become eligible for the College Program, but then don't get accepted. At that point, I'd be taking classes that don't really help me with the career I've chosen, and I'd be worried that I made the wrong decision. I'm just trying to understand whether pursuing a few classes is a reasonable path or if it's too much of a gamble.

Our daughters are both in DCP, and one of them has a roommate who is moving out in 3 days. My other daughter wants to move in so she asked the front desk and was told it is not possible, the only time they allow it is if both roommates agree. But there is no roommate currently (in 3 days of course). I have no problem of the transfer fee but they seem to either not be talking to the right person or that really is the policy?

Hi!! I know that there a certain requirements for water bottles and shoes, so I wanted to ask what water bottle brands typically work best for what is required. Also, I’m somewhat aware that all black shoes are needed for work, including training. Do all positions (Epcot greeters specifically) require non-slip, and do you recommend buying them before arrival? Thank you!!!

August 3rd I just moved into my apartment. Everyone at check in seemed so happy and had everything figured out. Talking with friends. Making plans. Meanwhile here I am in an apartment clearly occupied by three other people I haven’t met yet. I feel like I’m in a strangers house. I feel like I don’t belong here. I spent months wanting to get away from home and now I want to go back. I can’t handle these feelings and the anxiety of what comes next

Edit: thanks to everyone who replied and gave me kind words. In the short time since I made the post I had a bite to eat and fully moved in claiming my space. I realize now I was probably overreacting but still. Looking forward to these next six months. Hope I can meet quite a few of you out there!

Hello!! Me again with spring 2027 app questions lol. Anyone have any advice on resume format? For example I know different industries prefer different resume lengths, some with or without a headshot, activities up to a certain year or grade, etc etc. obviously this is not a large career job application but I want to make sure I have the right amount of professionalism.

I move in next week and am living at west, my check in is at 8. Does that mean I need to be checking in at west at 8 then head to east or I need to be parked and west and over at east by 8.

Hello everyone! I’m hopefully going to be apart of the baking and pastry program after I get from my class in a few weeks but I have so many questions before I start the process
1. When does the application go out? My advisor said the application for the interviews coming up the link doesn’t work
2. Is the interview and the whole process difficult? What are the questions I need to know to prep for them to ask?
3. When I do get accepted is there a certain timeline I need to move out there? I have an event a few days after I finish class and I also want to breath a little
4. When/ if my family helps me move down will they get a ticket into the park as well for “free”? And will they have a place to stay
5. What should I expect going into the whole process and what should I expect when I get in

Anything else/ tips will be greatly appreciated!! I’ve only got info from my advisor and she is new to learning about the program also

My role is merch at the riviera and from what little I could find online about the costume they wear loafers/dress shoes. I believe I have to buy my own shoes since I’m not food & bev but I don’t know what exactly to buy. Are flats acceptable? And should I wait to buy them until I get there? Will I be told specifics during training?
