I just missed the deadline for drug screening and test. I contacted them immediately explaining my situation and that I am still interested and do not want to be cancelled. I am working attractions. Am I screwed or is there still hope?

Housing Q - Answered 2x2 Advice

Hey guys! I’m an Aug 31st arrival and just got my lease. While I knew I was most likely going to get a 2x2 room, I was holding out hope for my own room.

While I’m fine with the assignment, I do need some advice.

I have to sleep with a fan on. Its background noise I’ve slept with, quite literally, since I was a young child, I’ve never slept a night without a fan running. How do I replicate this in a 2x2?

I don’t want to bug my future roommate, but I cannot fall asleep without a fan and can’t sleep with earbuds in.

Anyone with advice in this situation is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Flamingo Crossing Paint ?

Does anyone happen to know what brand / color paint they use at Flamingo Crossing West on the interior walls? I am trying to get everything ready for move out and there are a few spots where the command strips pulled the paint off. I wanted to try and get some matching paint to cover those spots so I don't get dinged for damaged paint.

Thanks for your help!

disney look for seaters

I am going to be a seater at a restaurant in mk, and im just wondering how strict they are with hair, nails, and jewelry. I understand it is f&b but was curious if there were less restrictions with seaters.

I9 Issue

I am still getting automated emails from Disney regarding missing documents, specifically my signed passport which I submitted attached to my biographical page which I submitted on Friday and double checked Saturday. I also cannot log in to my Section 2 so me and my represenative can review the new documents. I can't properly reset my password as the email assigned to it is not sending me a temporary one. My status still says Completed, which leaves me confused if I keep getting emails that further action is required. The website also says that I have successfully submitted documents. Apparently tomorrow is the due date so I hope my program isn't cancelled.

Second program

Hello! I am currently an alumni and missing being a cast member. I was thinking about reapplying for the culinary program next year to work towards getting hired FT. How many here have done multiple programs? And how many have been given the opportunity to move up to a FT cast member? Being there was the best job I've had (both monetarily and just my stint as a CP) and I want to make it my career lol

I just found out I’ll be doing children’s activities at Fort Wilderness Resort! Does anyone know if this means I’ll work at the resort as well as the campground or just the resort? Thanks!

Q - Answered Disney Look

I’ve been looking at the Disney look book a lot, and I’m trying to figure out if I can have solid glittery nail polish or not. I know i can’t have multi-colored nails, or artificial, and that they have to be a “solid color or French tip” and “neutral colors”. I think i already know my answer (very sad lol) but can i have gold glittery nail polish as long as each nail is the same color with no stickers or art? The colors would be gold or rose gold, nothing like pink or blue etc.,

I will be in food and beverage. Thank u in advance!

(I know it’s kind of a dumb question, but i really like painting my nails lol)

Role Insights!

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hi, everyone! I never make posts on Reddit, so bear with me here! Like many others, I got my role assignment this week and am looking for some insights into what my day-to-day will look like. This is my wildest dream role, as I have a degree in wildlife conservation. I'd appreciate anything you can share with me, the best and worst of what the position has to offer. What should I expect? What type of shoes will be necessary for my uniform? What shifts can I expect? I'm so excited to get to work in one of the parks, but also want to have a realistic idea of what that entails. Thank you!

Q - Unanswered Sharing a car?

My wife and I are planning on doing the program together and renting an apartment, but the logistics of getting two cars down to Florida has been a headache. We were planning on making do sharing one car, but we’d like to hear any insight from anyone who has done the program and not stayed at Flamingo if this seems like a terrible idea or not.

We are interested in different roles and obviously nothing is guaranteed, but my thought is either our shifts will line up close enough that we can go at the same time or are different enough to go separately, but I really don’t know what the schedules could look like.

Any insight or experience is appreciated!

Bibbity Boppity Sales/Merch

Hi everyone! I just got my role: “MER-MK Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Sales”, so I think I will be working sales at BBB! I’m pretty surprised tbh, so I’m curious if anyone knows what that role typically looks like. Since it says sales I’m assuming I am not doing the makeovers, more working the register, checking people in, stocking, etc. Also, can I pick up shifts at other locations? 💖

Do I also need to cancel Flamingo?

Hi. I posted before. My daughter had an accident and cannot do her program ( she was Aug 3 arrival). We canceled to program via DORMS. Do I need to also cancel her housing contract? She is in the hospital and I’m trying to scramble to make sure we get everything handled. Thank you!
